I am also working with support/development at the moment. My error message is the same as what Craig is getting and it has also been tracked down to the inabiltiy to register the DLLs in the COM+ components. I will post what the fix turns out to be. -Justin Hay

Once we turned on the Layer 2 and Layer 3 Topology polling the Vlan polling seemed to work at that point. I hope this helps.

I managed to get this issue to go away by using the polling engine tuner to increase the amount of SNMP polls per second. I have it set at 160 for roughly 1100 nodes and 1400 interface and 10-15 custom mib pollers.
