@mderosia will put you on the list of requests.
-
The beta isn't ready just yet, but will contact you when it is ready.
-
You have to go through the program, which is handled on a person by person basis, over the phone. Will have someone contact you.
-
@schitti @laffen @term, if you are interested in getting in on a beta of ipMonitor let me know. I think you will all be happy with the new features.
-
Looking into this. Will contact you when I get the answer.
-
@jnelson - I had mentioned this earlier to schitti, but the 500 limit would only be placed on new ipMonitor customers or those who let the maintenance lapse. Jason

Everyone, We have several Solarwinds employees watching the thread, so know your comments have been heard. Honestly, it is difficult for us not to be able to respond with information/knowledge we have of early discussions behind the scenes happening with ipMonitor. That being said our hands are tied or I should say…

We have some things on the horizon for ipMonitor, which should dramatically increase the value for SMB's. Feel free to contact me as I would love for your feedback as we move forward.
-
@schitti - We have two products, ipMonitor and APM, which it sounds like your needs may fall into the APM category. APM is meant for enterprise customers, those that need robust features and a tool that can grow limitlessly with the organization. The 500 limit would only be placed on new ipMonitor customers or those who…

@mprest - I hear your frustration. If you would like to disucss everything you are looking for in future releases I would be happy to give you a call. I am personally working on the roadmap for ipMonitor so your feedback would be greatly appreciated.
-
Schitti, we moved to form based login from digest, removed the ability to add windows accounts. We didn't get #4 into the release. A work around for #4 is exporting config as xml then editing with search/replace and importing it. Jason

@Everyone - sorry to hear you are having issues getting everything out of ipMonitor that you hoped for. I am the new Product Manager for ipMonitor and should be taking over that product full-time within the next couple of weeks. When you have the time, I would be happy to discuss your pain points, wants, and needs over the…

Are you sure that you are running as asmin and have appropriate rights? Is this an eval or full license? Can you start any of the EXE's via <Program Files>\Solarwinds\Toolset?
-
Did you post in the NPM forum?
-
Can you explain in more detail what you are trying to achieve? If you want a standalone TFTP tool download it here. http://www.solarwinds.com/products/freetools/free_tftp_server.aspx

The number of monitors listed in the documentation, via a number, are not supplied monitors, but the total number of monitors you can have across all your devices.
-
Ronald, I will send you an email. Did you try the licensed version trial?
-
@paulage - The issue with iPad/iPhone is probably due to Safari. I believe Chrome has some issues as well. We are looking at bug fixes for a patch release.
-
@Paulage, I have recently taken over ipMonitor Product Manager, so I will see what we can do. We have some things planned for ipMonitor in the near future. - Jason

Need to force the Monitor to use NTLM Authentication instead of impersonation. To do that, you simply create a new Credential and only select “may be used for NTLM authentication”. The problem is you can’t do that in ipMonitor 9 so use option 2 if you can't upgrade: 1. Upgrade to ipMonitor 10 and do the above trick Or 2.…

There is a maintenance release, which *will not* contain those things listed in the what we are working on post, but don't fret.
-
This is on the roadmap so keep an eye out.
-
This isn't on the roadmap. Will put in the list though.
-
You would rather have this than standard ipMon alerts?
-
Are you asking to schedule when monitors are turned on/off, so between 2AM and 6AM shut off these three monitors?
-
We are looking into this and will get back to you.
-
Variations has only been added to a few devices. More to come, including Netgear. Look for this in a future release.
-
You can't modify the smartscans. As far as the mass add we don't do that yet.
-
We currently don't have this feature, but its on the list of feature requests. Will up date you if/when it makes the roadmap.
-
If you follow the KB article fully you should fix your issue. Let me know how it goes.
