I recommend sql reporting services

have you had a look at the Orion Web Configuration Backup/Restore Utility, it backs up the following - views, limitations, menu bars, accounts ect. you could then take this backup and "restore" it to the other servers.

I use Microsoft sql management studio. it will let you explore the database, that's how I create my reports
