Worked with support on this issue. The error log says that it cannot find the grep command. They had me to try the root user account and it works fine. Checked the permissions of the service account and they had changed.

Here is how I look that info up. If you go under settings and manage nodes you can add it to your view. Then you can sort by it or if you group by vendor then sort by polling method. Or you can use the report writer. Select all nodes and custom table. Then select the node name and polling method.

how do you have the credentials set on the template? Go to the node and to the application. Click edit and the "chose credential type" what is it set to? Sometime i have to do "auto-detect" and then sometime i have to do "sql server credentials". Usually when it fails for me it's set to "windows credentials".

Go to your alert and edit it. Go to the "reset actions" tab and change/remove the actions of what is done when the alert has cleared. you can edit, copy, simulate and delete the reset action from there.
