Thank You - All What I was looking for : How does SW NPM query the DNS server ? Is there a configuration page where you insert the ip or DNS server ? ie for instance- similar to the email server ip or hostname that required for email to be sent ?

just found out that Vcenter sits on a linux server. how does that effect the sw console vman to vcenter ?
