@"kpina" - Have a red x for May 26th for a selection I didn't make. I made 2 out of 4 and it said I selected one I didn't. Can this be checked please

Something new isn't always the best solution for your requirements. It's often best to allow it to develop and be nurtured before integration into your environment. We used SDN in a previous role and whilst it resolved some of the problems, it created a whole new ream of new ones.

Yeah this is what got me :/ Teach me to read properly next time :l

My office is just that, an office. However over time it's evolved lets say into more. Now it's a storage room, with a desk, screens and a laptop. With some choice memorabilia on the walls, nothing really fancy, but a couple of nice pieces. An office these days can be anywhere at anytime, and I like that. Perhaps today I…

Yeah Airwolf was brilliant, however watching it back now you realise how poor the effects were! Still would be awesome to have a similar show these days, however I don't think they're ever as good as we remember them.

1gbps internet here, 3x kids always streaming, WFH and wife watching funny videos. I have to agree with the earlier comments about using a 3rd party router. Personally I would get one that can run tomato/merlin and configure it that way. They're more expensive, but you will appreciate the ability to configure the device…

Whilst this sounds great in principle, perhaps it would be better to make those at the front line better at the support they provide. I find support very hit and miss depending on the country performing that support. I understand the follow the sun model, but this can greatly affect the support levels received. The US…

If you want to be extremely polite, you can say Honto arigato gozimas Jan san wa nihongo o hanashimasu Although my Japanese is very rusty, my friend is still Fluent.

Todays' poll doesn't work. Error 404 PCBF

Security is only as good as the weakest link. Sadly the weakest link is usually the person at the top of the organisation who isn't IT savvy so everything has to be designed around them :/
-
Sadly a lot of the time this becomes a tick box exercise. Until the higher echelons of the organisation realise they're the weak link in the security chain, then nothing will change.
-
Todays question is a little sneaky. There are technically 2 valid answers, but it'll be dependant upon what the actual issue is. Or at least that's how I see it
-
Should today's question have been a multiple choice and not a radial dial one? Selected the answer and was informed it was incorrect...
-
Todays question is broken. Well the question isn't but the hint link is. Error 404

Long time lurker first time participator. Have to say it's been a blast, sharing views and reading experiences. It's weird and wonderful to see how similar, yet how diverse we all are.
-
We've asked for this as well. However SW blame CP and CP blame SW. Whilst you can monitor the VSX's the information you receive is garbage.

Completed, although I suspect being outside of the US will limit my chances Still 3000 thwack points will do nicely.
-
Of course, but it specifically listed an answer I didn't pick as why it was wrong. I don't mind getting stuff wrong, but when it's for something I didn't select....
-
Yes I get the same issues as you mention with the ' not showing correctly.

The problem with a massive tech company like Apple moving to Austin, is that it will encourage other massive tech companies to follow suit (If they haven't already). It's a bit like the London thing, companies make places the centre of the universe, they suck up all the talent and resources, then spew out products like a…

@"danielleh" - Question is broken again today. Only shows HA

As someone who suffers from an inferiority complex, it's always hard to overcome anxiety, although im reassured im doing a good job, and a valued member of the team, it's hard to hear nice things. I can deal with critical feedback much better than accepting, that I am valued and integral to the team.
-
Hmmm... Think today's answer is not right, or it is right but not giving points. I selected x and got a red x?
-
Thanks for the 2nd chance. I too had this wrong as I wouldn't have classed that as the answer. I've never heard of the term option box before tbh. However I nailed it this time around
-
I've got the same issue. It closed on the 28th :/

It's not the problem that "our" infrastructure sucks, it's more the legacy applications that are being run on said infrastructure that cause things to suck. Companies are often to reliant upon legacy programs that can only run on xyz, and they're unwilling to invest in a solution as "It works now, so why change it".…

I, like my cat, have social anxiety. So we've both been pretty ok with the lockdown, the ability to not have to see people without giving a reason as to why has been a blessing. Although my cat has socially distanced from me more and more, I think he's worried about Covid, but not actually saying

I dont seem to be getting any thwack points for commenting on the posts. I presume they should be instantaneous?

I'd looked at the question earlier when it was "to" and after it was changed to "between". The confusion comes from what you class as replication and between. It's a slight trick question from what I can see, as whilst it is replicating 1 way, it's also replicating the other way, hence the answer I gave was incorrect.
