Create a interface custom property if you don't have one already to tag you're company's WAN interfaces. Example a Yes/No interface custom property called WAN_Int (or whatever you want to call it) You could put the "Top XX Interfaces by Percent Utilization" resource in a new view. Edit the Resource, Adjust the Max number…

There is a resource now that you can add to your Node details page called "All Alerts this Object can trigger" that will show you all the alerts that would fire against the node.

Don't forget to move your nodes over to the new servers. Wish SW would update their docs as the products move along but you might want to check this out especially if you have other modules. http://www.solarwinds.com/documentation/Orion/docs/MovingYourOrionNPMDatabase.pdf

Have you tried looking at dbo.AlertStatusView. Not sure what you're trying to dig out but they have a lot of info about alerts in that view.

How are you monitoring your Transaction logs? AppInsight on SQL?

Are all of your failing nodes on the same poller?
-
Also on the Manage Nodes Page, you could drop down the "Show" box and choose Interfaces, that way it will quickly show you the interfaces you are monitoring in Orion. I use this method to quickly remove interfaces that don't need to be monitored and it saves time by not having to "List Resources" and wait for SW to re-walk…
