Have you bounced services?

Thank you, looks great on my page.

So are you a fan of OpenView? Just trying to fugue out the intention of your post.

Just imagine if we had a report like this with Disk, CPU, memory hardware inventory count values across Windows and Linux hosts. I'd pay for good money for it.
-
Thanks, I knew it was something simple.

Any idea why mine turns up blank? Do I need to break it up for the search box? Not seeing what I'm doing wrong.
-
Bump.

Awesome report! I tried filtering but its not working. Any ideas? I'm a coding school dropout.

Very nice! You gonna share

There was a post for this a few months back - but it gives inconsistent results for me. SELECT DISTINCT CASE WHEN [EntityUri] LIKE 'swis://%/Orion/Orion.Nodes/NodeID=%' AND [EntityUri] NOT LIKE 'swis://%/Orion/Orion.Nodes/NodeID=%/%' THEN [N].[Caption] WHEN [EntityUri] LIKE…

This is awesome, thank you.

Thanks, this is exactly what you said a few weeks ago, I just wanted triple confirmation.

How does an additional web server play its part in a two server HA setup? If the Additional Web Server requires the Primary Poller to be up 24/7, how does HA then work? Does the AWS simply route its requests now to the Secondary HA server? More on this topic - Using An Additional Web Server As The Primary Web Server...…

Thanks. The issue is incompleteness between many devices with those reports. With hundreds of devices its far from perfect especially with SNMP V3 ASA devices. And we just want chassis and SUP modules.

Can someone please help prove to our manager that a serial number report is available for all of our Cisco devices with SolarWinds without the duplicates for cards? A report that spans SNMP v2/v3 configurations? If we have 300 Cisco devices I don't see how creating UNDPs for each one is ideal? Am I missing something here?…

What are the counters included in this template?

aLTeReGo Is it correct in assuming that when HA is enabled, that our primary server in a same subnet environment is now sending all outbound SNMP polling traffic from the VHN IP? Thanks EDIT - I guess you answered that but wanted to triple confirm - "But from the other perspective of monitoring the outgoing traffic can…

It was removed in version 12.2 Export to PDF missing or relocated?

I looked at what I'm using and its set to Microsoft .NET Data Provider I recall that I installed a watered down version of Oracle 12 from Oracle. Not the SolarWinds versions. Works good for 3 years so far.

If you get this figured out and after a few months, I'd like to know your experience with so many URLs. We tend to get so many false alerts with SAM http/s monitoring that its causing lots of grief.

I started this thread to share feedback - NPM 2019.4 Upgrade Feedback

See SolarWinds Orion Platform requirements You do not need SQL SRS for SolarWinds, but some people use it if you're good with BI. Other components are generally not required. Just the very basics of a SQL install following the guidelines above. Following the above guide and selecting the DB engine should be enough, but I'd…

Any updates on running the full SolarWinds suite in the AWS cloud? What about HA - on-prem Primary Polling engine and having HA server in AWS? We are heading in that direction. We bought HA module and will be building out SQL AlwaysOn DB, and placing an HA engine in AWS.

What is the solution for this issue for SNMP based devices across all SW products? Buy the EOC product? Buy APEs?

You can open up the disk volume chart and adjust the time line. If you're looking for a canned report for many volumes, you're asking for something that many people have asked for. It gets ugly when throwing several objects in a view, which is what PerfStack tries to fix according to the official blog.

Service bounce, SolarWinds TCP optimization reg hacks, core Orion Services uninstall and re-install are the short and long term remedies. Statistic collection is dead when this one is high. I watch this counter very closely.

If you are unmanaging in Chrome, we too have observed unpredictable behavior with Unmanage Mode operations and now only use IE or FF. There are many bizarre behaviors I have noticed when using Chrome that are easily re-producible. Especially when editing components and updating any kind of form fields. If I wasn't so busy…

You can try this - go to Node details page, Edit Node, View Type drop down to change the view. I'm not 100% sure your custom view will be in here though.
-
Just a quick idea but I think you could embed an HTML widget with an inline frame containing the Real Time Processes view - the Process view link is found on the Node details page. Create an HTML widget and put the code below in. You may have to play with the sizing. Your users will need to have real time process view…

We're seeing this counter build once a week to around 71k as well and we end up having to reboot to fix broken stats collection.
