I was able to get the iframe to work by setting the remote web server X-Frame-Options to ALLOW-FROM and the host with the widget. Now the remote site is telling me to enable cookies after entering my id/password. The website works fine outside of the widget. The same widget worked fine pointing to our dev instance.

Thanks so much for your detailed response. I do have some questions. For #1, I do not see X-Frame-Options or XFrameOptions or frame-ancestors under the Orion Advanced Configuration. Mine is at a different URL: /Orion/Admin/AdvancedConfiguration/Global.aspx. Or are you talking about another Advanced Configuration? Maybe…

I could not find it in the WebSettings table, but I did find it in Advanced Configuration, and it was already set to false. Based on our other custom HTML widgets, it seems to be a difference in how the web site presents the x-frame-options . 2 external sites of ours present DENY and non-existent options and are working,…

Hello, Is there a way to modify the script to simply show the List Resources for each node and what is checked or unchecked, without taking any action to modify them? Thanks. Steve
-
I would like to turn off the notifications bell, but create alerts instead. Also, I would like to filter some of the notifications. There are too many "FYI" type notifications (e.g. Discovery Import Successful, Log received from unknown node, new version announcements, etc.) I don't see why these need to be listed.
-
So, then, are you making the change at 20:20:20 the night of 2/20/2020? Or is that 2 much 2 ask?
-
Have you heard about any updates on this feature?
-
Hey, Josh. How many of these are still relevant? Many of them seem to be, but what is Orion Hot Standby Engine? Is that now known as HA, or is it something different? Thanks. Steve
-
Is this video still available somewhere? The link does not work. It sends me to the Thwack home page. The "other videos" link sends me to a list of KB articles, but the one listed for this is blank. Thanks!
-
Danielle, How was all this communicated? I have no emails and no messages in Thwack regarding the migration. At least the last migration had frequent notifications.
-
Have you received any response to this?
-
Never mind. I see your comments on our thread. I voted on your feature request, too, btw.
-
We had to open a feature request for this. Please vote on it if you get a chance: Thanks. Steve

Linux OS support for the agent/probe.

I think the issue happens with syslogs as well, so the solution should apply to both traps and syslogs, or any logs processed by Log Analyzer.
-
WLUTHER, For clarification, are you talking about the varbinds in a trap being made available to the alert as individual variables (E.g. varbind 7 is assigned its own variable)? Or are you talking about the tag you apply in the rule configuration? We can already use the variable…

Have you heard about any updates to this request?

I think the variable, ${N=OLM.AlertingMacros;M=OLMAlertMessage.EventMessage} might be what you are looking for. There's just not a way of parsing it into individual variables.

Setting the reset on the alert that way does work. I was overthinking it. Thanks for your response!

Thanks. We have nightly backups, but where should the map be restored to? Is it in the database or a file on the application or polling server?
-
This works! Thanks!

I'm not the OP, but we have the same challenge, and we have both UDT and NPM. How can we leverage those for a solution?
-
Yes, I was able to upload png and jpg formats this morning. Thanks!
-
Thanks! I'm trying to determine if web console activity is the cause of or contributing to performance issues.
-
I'm doing this under NPM.

The custom property (just one) already exists. I just need to apply it to each node. I've devised a SQL query to do the work, but a little hesitant to run that in a production environment. So then I thought, maybe I can use a group, but then run into the same issue with the group. I did find a CSV import script in another…

@"sum_giais" Thanks for that suggestion. I realized that after I posted this, which is very helpful. I like that you can get to it via SWQL, also.

Hi, Rich. I'm missing how this is creating a group. This may be a separate question, but I have a similar situation in NPM. I have a list of 100 devices that need to be in a group or custom property added. There is nothing common from them to match on so I need to use their individual names. Group configuration nor custom…

Perhaps this is a support issue, but these sysobjectid's are oddly inconsistent in 2023.1.1. Some have the machine type correct but all other information, including Vendor, blank or unknown. Alternately, they will have all that information except the machine type is generic. 1.3.6.1.4.1.9.1.3079 = Cisco C9200X…
