How can SEM help "optimize your Active Directory Logon efficiency"? I think a key word "audit" was left out of the question...

I get this problem often. I have found that our firewall blocks the outgoing transfer as containing suspicious content. It detects a .dll and marks it as a Portable Executable which may contain malware.

The query below can be used in a report to show nodes with SNMP polling failed: Select Nodes.NodeID As NetObject, Nodes.Caption As Caption, ' ' + Caption + '' As 'DetailsUrl', Nodes.ApplicationGroup, Nodes.SystemAdmin, Nodes.Physical, Nodes.Owner, Nodes.Owner_Email, Nodes.SysAdmin_Email, Nodes.LastSystemUpTimePollUtc,…

Select SNMP for status and it will show down when SNMP is not working.
-
The additional polling engine is used to a)increase the number of nodes that can be polled or b)locate a poller closer geographically to the nodes being polled or c) locate a poller in a security enclave with the nodes being polled. There may be other reasons as well but these are the three main considerations I am aware…

Yay, I was able to post without any issues this time (fingers crossed)

Sounds like a very bad tool. Banning people and not revealing why. I wonder if there is a tool to ban the bad tools?

Perhaps you could have an alert trigger on a group member being set to unmanaged and have the trigger action set the custom property on the group. Not sure if this would work, just spitballing

Please do the same for my account. I haven't been able to make a successful comment for months. It says it was flagged as spam, but in my book, spam should contain a link or promotion of something. If it is just because I hit enter too fast you need a better spam filter. And from then on I will always be blocked because I…

Your column VMHost ID appears to be time-based. I'm not sure what you are looking for here. I don't see that column in my database. Are you trying to track vmotion over time as it moves from host to host? I do see DRS vMotion Rate in my database. but that appears to be a fixed value as well. Do you get the table to…

I get that all the time. Our firewall sees some files (DLLs) in the diagnostics and blocks them as Portable Executables which are potentially malicious. I would ask the tech exactly what he is looking for. Log files get through without problem.

Thanks for the info. It looks like we won't be affected if we don't use Jakarta Authentication then?

Was there a vulnerability in the Tomcat version?
-
I'm not sure how tenable is getting the version. I can try editing version.txt if nothing else depends on it. From tenable.com: Note that Nessus has not tested for these issues but has instead relied only on the application's self-reported version number.
-
Additionally, the tenable vulnerability scanner plugin 209228 does not detect the upgraded version. It is looking for "12.8.3 Hotfix 3" but the scan returns "12.8.3.2230" which still leaves us with a critical vulnerability on the books. I have requested an update to the plugin to match the reported installed version.

Checking a URL with SAM component from multiple locations would require a more costly Additional Polling Engine license for each location.
-
There is a "Summary of your problem" field which can only accept up to 199 characters and right below that there is an "Additional Information" field which can take a lot more. I don't know how much more, but I know if you leave the Additional information blank it will prompt you to PLEASE ENTER A DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF…

Looks like it works all the way through the checkout process. Now I'll wait and see how the fulfillment rates.

It was my understanding that the dialog that shows "Always trust this host" was generated by Filezilla and the OP wants to find a way to do the same with ftp voyager.

I found the answer after I continued exploring my server. If anyone else is looking for this information it is in C:\Program Files\SolarWinds\Orion\HighAvailability\Plugins\Blacklists\OrionMainPoller.xml. I added the line for the SolarWindsRecommendations service as shown: <Service>…

I have evidence that supports your theory. See the screenshot below. I am trying to get availability statistics on a pool of two servers. If either of the servers is up, I consider the overall application to be up since it is a high availability pool. To get a metric of the overall availability, I put these two servers in…
