I'm with brianj seems that MS is late to the game on this.... perhaps by design as they have hooked everyone on O365.

Blacksheep Squadron, Bonanza, Beverly Hillbillies and Petticoat Junction..... We'll fill this bracket in no time!!!!!

As ecklerwr1 mentioned Compliance is huge in my environment... Nice preview of a very important and complicated process.
-
Both hands raised!!!! Responsibility for performance issues is only the beginning, then they want total support!
-
The self burnout test is one that should be bookmarked and taken periodically. It can and will help keeping perspective.

New for 2020: 1. Telecommuting for over two months! Nice! 2. Telecommuting from my travel trailer in the campground I have a seasonal site in near the beach for 4 weeks straight... (awesome). @"rschroeder" (when this clears.... We are going to do a long road trip...) 3. Finished my bar area 4. updated my deck. 5. Enjoyed…

adatole thanks for doing this again. It is one of my favorite THWACK features.

Great article.... My mantra every day "Shields Up!!!" and prepare for the worst... Responsibility requires recognition that you are the cause of something that is not right, until manufacturers get it.... We pay the price. We live in a microwave world, instant gratification and the desire to be first to the wiz bang show…

Del's is the best!!!! One of their shops is less than 2 miles from home....

Welcome to my world!!! FInancial Services IT Director by day....... Elected local official by night in a small town (pop. 8900)

sqlrockstar great work as always. Google - If I had 6 months to fix a problem... Just saying! Cortana - Too late... too little... too predictable Scientific publishing -- old adage publish or perish... strange world! A solution for the struggle:
-
Well said adatole and lessons learned well from your father.

sqlrockstar Great looking fire pit!!! (yes on the scotch... I'll pass on the smores... I'll bring some dogs though!"

Nice article... Every time I open my FB account and see what people I know post .... my first thoughts are: 1. TMI and 2. do you keep anything private?
-
Well said! It's all about the business and not about the technology itself.
-
The whole admissions scandal thing just really kills me. This just is insane.... the depths to which some people go to "always win"... The photoshopping of faces for "athletic" scholarships is just mind blowing.... Hey parents.... great role model you are! Just when you think you've heard it all.
-
Classic....
-
excellent idea !!!

staying current is important. You do yourself and the place you work a great disservice by not doing so. Over the years I have seen too many people get painted into a corner because they knew a key older technology in the organization. Suddenly an update/change and they are on the outside looking in. Look forward and stay…

Congrats Leon... If you are having fun doing what you love.. it's not work!

One of the biggest problems in a growing business is the ability of the product to grow as you do. Finding the right balance is the key. I've made good choices... bad choices.... and been downright lucky at times.... great article...

Great thread.... ASP's are a fine way to extend your footprint without the start up costs and back end support. Unfortunately, even the most strict due diligence efforts cannot prevent EMP's, Earthquakes, floods or Mr. Murphy paying an unscheduled visit. Look around... most companies use outsourced payroll system…

Tesla and Elon Musk - Here's an obviously smart person (some would say genius) who doesn't know his own limitations. A great idea is in danger of failing because of hubris.
-
That's a fine looking grill there sir!!!! And even better looking meat!
-
Excellent points!!! Knowing your environment is the key, and monitoring is a living breathing thing. "KISS" works! The object is to report real problems, not show that problems can be reported.

Drones... Just like birds can do a tremendous amount of damage. Birds fly where they want, people fly drones. I can't even fathom what kind of person thinks that it would be a great idea to fly a drone where it could bring a plane down and potentially kill hundreds of people.
