Did you get a response for this, am curious to implement this on our lab system.

We are installing a new poller and are having similar issues. We checked a/v and see there are exceptions for all of the solarwinds executables. I did not think to look at what ports are opened. Will take a look.

I have recently started searching for a solution again and have not found one. Anyone out there made any headway?

So the past few missions have had surveys. When I look at my standings/missions, I don't see the points added. I know it says wait a few weeks after the mission is complete before the points are awarded, but still no points :-(

Hello tersteew, I would look at the host you are polling for clues. Is the info coming from a Windows dhcp server, Cisco device or another system? If that is not the case and you are just scanning your dhcp scopes, you mentioned you checked all the network gear. Any hub/switches they usually show these type of ghosts macs.

So I ran into a similar issue. Our setup: main poller, nta and db are all running on separate servers (OS 2016) When we spoke with support, it had to do with our server OS, 2019. We could not install APE, even after trying multiple registry mods and using different installer versions. We rebuilt the server using MS 2016…

I like the idea of emailing a report, just limiting the log count to less than 50 entries. Otherwise this can be overwhelming, in my opinion. So filtering would be a great option to include.

You should be able to do this based on the reports feature in NCM. Most places require a maintenance window to deploy/make changes? If that is not your case, you can schedule the nodes within ncm to perform the update that way. I don't see an option to check the ios version and deploy an appropriate image. Because we have…
