This request is now almost 4 years old..... I think its time....

Orion is customizable, anything that enhances this is great in the marketplace from a competitive standpoint. This enhances the customizability of what the user can do on their dashboards. This is VERY important to troubleshooting via correlation of events, and end users seeing what THEY want.

We cant do any more upgrades without this feature. ALL our dashboards are built on it and there are NO other alternatives within Orion....

Many of us only have Orion as a view into the VM infrastucture. Building this out would be a huge help to many of us. I know Virtualization Manager now has great integration in Orion, and I may go that route to get the data we need.

As Orion has more features, the ease of use is lacking.... The features are fantastic, but the interface and the "useability" need to be just as imporatnt otherwise the feature loses much of its value... Data would be items like: Garbage collection metrics/handles, logical threads, physical threads, generation 0, 1, and 2 heap data and collections, time in Garbage collection and things like that. The items I would like to see are the organization, the dashboard layout with the smaller graphs and a lot of data in one place…

I performed the upgrade last Thursday afternoon. There are about 500 components on this system and about 1800 NPM elements. On this box is NPM 2000 and SAM 700 licenses. I hear ya, and where we can we will put the agents, but we have to test on over 700 diffent servers before it will be allowed, and some systems they just laugh at me. So I see a mix for us of about 400 agents and 300 agentless.... fun fun....

I do feel your pain on this. WE have 6APE's, additional web server, WPM server, NTA DB server and they all must be touched. Then when you take into consideration that we have many modules, SAM, NPM, NCM, WPM, NTA, UDT, VNQM, IPAM and Toolset, the install/upgrade takes forever. We now do more upgrades with max of two…
