I got my October T-shirt, but since anyone can still answer these questions until 29 November, I'd be surprised to hear the November T-shirt has already gone out.

Fortunately, I never had to replace BOT or EOT markers, but I did clean plenty of tape paths (dust and fluff could cause the markers to misread). Far more often, we had to clip the end off because the autofeed mechanism couldn't slurp up the tape.

I'm thankful for the opportunity to work in a favorite field of mine (supporting science), doing things I love (building "stuff"), in a town with lots of opportunities (Columbus, OH).

The text in the mission says the questions will remain open until 6 August 11:59 PM Central Time. Why do the questions say "must be answered by 4 August"?

I like the new calendar format and the visual feedback of which questions are open and which are answered, but I do not like the popup that hides the page and can't be moved aside.

We had a small shop (50 employees at peak). We didn't run tapes all day (or even every day), so for us, it was mostly cleaning when it didn't load or threw read/write errors, or at the start of a weekly backup so all would go well. My friends at the University were at more of the clean-every-shift tape volume.
