You can do more with teams than chat but it takes some work. We have a weekly status board created in teams we use each week to track status of everything.

I was thinking the same thing. It was nice to have a dad that gave me a LOT of lessons growing up. Kinda makes you feel bad for all the people out there without dads.

I concur with JFrazier. Audit log data can require really strict permissions. It's similar to documenting your vulnerabilities. Certain data just shouldn't be visible to everyone.

Wow that's pretty huge if this happens to you with those versions! I didn't think anyone had cracked any of them yet!

Happens all the time to me Will!

I agree and often my downfall is trying to read too much into things... usually keeping it simple wins and sometimes it's just badly written so it's a crapshoot.

Wow that's great Brett and I'm sure it's hard to give a dog away after raising and taking care of them for so long. It's a noble effort as many Vets esp. special operators can suffer a lot after coming home. Labs are great dogs too!

The new command line stuff is awesome.

I agree and not looking forward to maintaining a whole rack of servers to run splunk or the price but information assurance thinks this is going to solve all their problems. What they really want is some easy button for all their stuff and I really don't have the time to spend on splunk all the time. Bill

I've had automation go wrong before... for some of us the network is getting so big now that without NCM some things would be next to impossible to achieve though that's for sure!

I've been thinking outside of the box on some of LEM agent connectors... I may need say Oracle Linux connector to get RedHat Linux to log correctly... stuff like that.

I keep it simple although my real title is long and ridiculous in a way. I just use IT Network / Systems Engineer .ılılı..ılılı. CISSP as my signature.

My concern is about whether deadlocks is in or out... you can see the deadlock tab in the video. I think I'm reading too much into it.

I seem to remember really enjoying the S modules in AD&D. These were some of my favorite modules to DM. Seems like you could monitor a lot of this with NPM, SAM, and NetPath.

Does it require the windows firewall to work though? If the firewall is disabled does winRM work?

We donate old cellphones and some electronics like laptops to Cellphones for Soldiers. They clean up and reuse the Cellphones so Soldiers in the field can use them to call loved ones at home!

For me one of the big changes was helping Toyota move from IBM token ring to Cisco and ethernet (which had a bad bump in the road called 3Com and rebadged 3Com which changed the superstacks from white to black with an IBM logo on them). My legacy will always be searching for answers in technology and after finding them...…
