Go ducks I guess then right?

Brady cheated!

Wow crazy two days now!

The better application recognition looks good as does the topology information. Anything to improved bandwidth utilization troubleshooting sounds good too!

It's ok this morning... I'm not sure what happened. For some reason I could get to thwack.solarwinds.com but not www.solarwinds.com At first I thought this was something on your end but then I had trouble reaching some root levels for other websites. Luckily it's all gone away today but stuff like that bothers me.

It's handy to not have to copy and paste each time... I've seen this before even years ago with Windows XP machines. Did you make that video yourself Tom of the water? Bill

It's debatable about whether HCO and Security Observability can use AI. That's a little borderline. Or well HCO with it is supposed to at some point. I have SEM on multiple networks and I know what it does but integrated with HCO well... unfortunately on one of my bigger networks they're forcing splunk down my throat. Bill

This is my kind of drysuit:

This sums up the UFO pilot dilemma... just look at their skateboards. Oh and hey... the website looks really cool Tom!
-
I miss the old days of always going away to another state for training during the year.
-
I see that all the time... often with my own work. I may not say anything but I don't forget stuff like that.

I'm just glad the ball didn't continue on... go Chewbacca go!!!!

DR/BC is hard and not very easy to really test either. Good backups is the best place to start I think.

Awe Art Bell passed away! RIP Coast to Coast!

Yeah like the autopilot the barge was on one of our newest destroyers ran into! Applocker works pretty dang well too! You should see the bridge and technology on this bad boy we make: USS Independence Littoral Combat Ship (LCS 2) - YouTube

lmk I might be able to come up with something especially if I'm doing it already anyhow... also I'm a Cisco Gold Partner.

The greatest thing since sliced bread: * SNMP status-polling. ICMP reachability is no longer required - http://thwack.solarwinds.com/ideas/2868

That doesn't sound good o.O

BYOD is something we'd like to do in the defense industry but it's a big risk. Currently the focus is on virtualized containers inside the phone which would protect the defense information from the rest of the phone and users apps. Although this has some promise many aren't ready to stake their reputation on it yet.

For sure! I went to RMF training and got a stack of books a foot high... the ultimate goal with RMF is continuous monitoring and logging everything so we're rethinking some of our logging now.
-
When everything is marked as a security relevant object it makes the windows security event logs grow massively in size. Then being required to maintain this raw log data for extended periods of time it becomes tedious to say the least!
-
Wow gotta scroll down a little more but it's all working! Welcome to thwack 3.0!!! I'm glad you got it all worked out Danielle! Bill
-
That's close!

We've even started some cloud now and considering the security ramifications it's most likely here to stay.
-
Also the idea of increasing sharing of intelligence, security, and moving to some "cloud" not in your control all sometimes conflict with each other... I know our customers wouldn't probably be ok with us outsourcing our infrastructure to anyone... It's the cloud not owned by you part I see a lot of problems with. Everyone…
-
I've got almost 4 trillion security events in my GFI EventsManager system right now... since all of the machines are hardened they gen like orders of magnitude more security events than normal default systems would so I get what your saying.
-
The video helped for sure!
-
Even though these have been multiple choice questions... they really haven't been... just sayin'.
