I really like DPA but dang if you have a lot of servers and databases it can really add up the $$$. For some things I've seen moving DPA license around between databases and not having it installed for them all at the same time. It's an option. I love the licensing model though. Many of us wish SEM was licensed like DPA.

appstack and perfstack sound perfect for this!

I may have answered my own question but...

Lol that made me think of these flappers:

I actually just switched from GFI EventsManager to LEM. GFI pulled windows event logs without an agent. It would download the logs from windows machine 1000 events at a time until all the events were pulled and then would clear the event log (if you want it to).

These would be very helpful... I have mostly SPARC. We've investigated using x86 Solaris to replace some SPARC's since they could be virtualized in VMware but they don't seem to function the same way as we expected. Also Solaris zones work pretty well under SPARC.

Helping out others in your community is always good. It's also kinda how people in Texas are to begin with. There are states I really love and others I couldn't even imagine living in... Texas and Arizona are two states I really like! I'll leave out the states I don't like and why.

Using things like netflow and WPM, and NetPath probes are ways to test the user experience from different areas on your network.

Dragon may take it all!

Same drawback for me being on air gapped network. Soon I hope our own models can run trained AI models locally without need for AWS or Azure!

I agree with Eric.

Yup, he didn't use the exact wording but the info was all there for today's question. I did have to think it through a little... it wasn't a gimme today.

Some of these solutions sure sound great. I sometimes wonder how much they meet their goals? Who accessed which data when is great info to have but that's also a lot of metadata I would think. I suppose with cheaper storage and deduplication that somethings are possible now that wouldn't have been before.

I'm sure there were some made by Lucasfilm themselves... I would guess those could be in the tens of thousands of dollars for sure... maybe more... most likely 6 figures.

I'm currently still using these and they out right jam! They have two sets of posts and can be bi-amplified. Boston Acoustics VR 30 Floorstanding Speakers user reviews : 4.7 out of 5 - 14 reviews - audioreview.com Even after all these years since I bought them new for 700$ each they are so tight.

Yeah at least 3 of the answers on today's question are correct...

I think all month, just about, the 3rd and 4th answers were jokes!!!

That worst internet title makes me think about DSL in my old state of Ohio... it was so bad.

I don't know about you all but I'm 100% not sure about today's question... a couple of the answers I've found in the page but of the other two one seems wrong but the other is a big ??? I don't see the exact wording anywhere but I could see how you could suppose it's true so... ugh!

Not a lot gets past Jay... js.

We do like our NTA flows!

I send all of my spam email to yahoo... like when you sign up for websites that want verification. They were one of the first that allowed basically infinite emails to be saved.

I'm dealing with the PKI now. Everyone has tokens now. The next thing tackle is figuring out 802.1x and if it makes sense for smaller network. Right now we're using sticky port security. My DSS rep is telling us we need dedicated hosts for HBSS console and now network administration as well. This means I need to add two…

Patching is always a challenge and these days you can't afford not to.
