Running in that humidity sounds horrible!

I'm not sure about question one either... I have it open now but I'm at a total loss to the reasoning for it??? I've watched the video a few times and I've read the documentation. Now I'm gun shy ;^} There's also a fifth option in question one. Anyhow... this is good debate and I'm definitely learning something along the…

Exactly when all else fails... isolate the @#$% out of it!

Count me in! Since crossing over into 3 separate NPM/NTA/SAM instanced with EOC I'm debating giving the new EOC a chance or back to one huge SLX with stacked pollers like it seems like some have started doing. I kinda prefer the new EOC direction but it's a work in progress.

Probably was easy for everyone else but it too me a long time to get 2.

I can relate to this Kevin. I've been able to get my company to do a lot recently. A good example was by showing the value proposition SEM could give covering the 800-53 security controls for RMF compliance we're starting to standardize on SEM as our SIEM for many networks. Some are larger and some are smaller now that we…

We'll never be serverless I don't think... at least not anytime soon.

I can relate to the way things change when you get older. Some stuff starts to hurt more, some stuff starts to not work as well anymore. I suppose we're wiser now but also that pretty much leads to getting jaded about some things. I like to think I haven't forgotten what it means to be young and excited about technology.

We're using a subcontractor that comes and picks up all of our different types off barrels. We have barrels for paper, media (tapes, cd/dvd's), misc electronics. We have barrels for used cellphones which are refurbished and sent to the troops abroad. We have burn barrels. We also have time when large electronic recycle…

I had to uninstall the Facebook app from my phone and only use the web version once in a while now... the app was ridiculous with all the alerts and messages it was driving me crazy. So much better with that thing uninstalled now!

I agree and like Eric for some of us it'll never display anything relevant.

Dang bacon shoes and I still can't get over how for some people the law doesn't seem to apply!

Security by obscurity sure did work well for many years! Now everyone has a Nessus scanner... those days are pretty much over.
-
Geesh Atlassian is trying to rewrite/rename everything it seems like these days... I've had to deal with a bunch of their tools lately. I will say this... they're fairly stable when run on linux so that's good.

Yep IMA computer scientist! That probably goes back to the basic programming days.

Data Science Engineers is one of the biggest new growth areas in Computer Science right now.

The James Webb telescope bag is neat.

The *** sure looks good! Yeah I'm ready for another Phoenix SWUG I think. It's been long enough... also a real Cisco Live with SolarWinds onsight would be great too! Bill

Wow Will good to hear it went ok but needing the edit the database to fix something is kinda scary. I will say generally the upgrade experience is much better than what we dealt with back in 10.x NPM days by a large margin. We've come a long way. Bill

We lost a great man in Stan Lee... I'll miss his cameo's in the movies as well.
-
I love John Wick movies but... Old Yeller is old school classic!
-
Gosh it's hard to believe how long we've been doing this stuff... It hit me some more when I saw the back of my 20 year anniversary SolarWinds t-shirt I often wear at night. I can't remember where I got that maybe Cisco Live when it was still in person a couple years ago. Bill
