I'm really glad NPM added the capacity forecasting timeline into the future a few version back... this really helps with getting idea which direction you are going with resources.

I'm definitely the definition of accidental DBA. I like SQL and I've been using databases for years but I've never called myself a DBA. I'm really excited about the prospect of MS SQL Server for linux though. I could see it helping to rid of more Oracle next year if it gets some traction.
