What exactly constitutes New - Anything that is not part of the UDT Port History. By default, the retention settings is set to 30 days, so if the endpoint is not detected by that time, it would be detected as new the next time it is scanned by UDT Why do I get duplicate alert emails every minute? - Check the alert itself…

Theoretically, you do not have to because the settings are all/most of all saved on the database. So instead of having a snapshot of your Application, back up your database instead.

Go to settings >> All settings >> IPAM settings >> Then snmp credentials. Do you have the community string/ SNMP credentials listed in there?
-
I believe when you connect via Dameware, you can push settings into the target machine. So if they somehow change it, you can force the change when connecting to the system.
-
have you tried upgrading to the latest version with Hotfixes and then re installing the agent?
-
gonna check the Eventlogs and see if there would be any failures.
-
I had this issue before. Kindly check on the link below. It is more how you configured your Snmpv3 on the device. https://support.solarwinds.com/Success_Center/User_Device_Tracker_(UDT)/Knowledgebase_Articles/Layer_2_Layer_3_data_not_visible_when_using_SNMPv3

I'm thinking there is a way, but it will be via Orion SDK.
-
in my opinion, nothing really. the only use in Adding DNS on the IPAM is the ability to create records and zones without going into the DNS itself.

Try opening a support ticket. You can also try to re-run the online installer and check if all the hot fixes were installed.
-
Custom Properties is for the Orion Side. Try using the Custom Field. But i would have to point out that there is a default comment field for the IP addresses. you do not have the need to create for another one.
-
If it is Groups, then you can drag and drop. But if it is Hierarchy group, then that's not possible.
-
better submit this as a feature request
-
I don't think it would be possible via HTTPS but SFTP should be able to do it.

You can always use the UDT compatiblity checker to verify if your Layer 3 Devices contains the IP Address you are missing. Run UDTCompatibilityChecker.exe from here: C:\Program Files (x86)\SolarWinds\Orion\UDT 1) Click New and enter any session name (eg, test), using “Orion Node” as the source. Enter login credentials for…

Pretty common on most remote tool. It's most probably about the speed. You can always press on Enter as a workaround.
-
Did you try View>Local Global Options and checking "Resize Window on Connect"?
-
I think this would be much better to be filed as a feature request.
-
if you enable ICMP scanning it would be globally. However, you can turn off and turn on scanning for specific subnets and then editing them and turning on the scanning for only specific subnets.
