if you will be just updating the IP, then that means your DNS will update the IP, correct? Then just follow the other guide.

Don't tick on the box. Just go ahead and delete. If you want to delete the associated subnets from IPAM, then tick on the 2nd box but that's it.

That simply says that the alert you created is not yet triggered as it not yet fulfilled, once the condition is fulfilled you would see how many objects it will trigger.
