I believe this was just a "just in case" you don't look after your alerts, so if you have thousands of active alerts i would sort that first. I have enabled this on multiple platforms with no issues though

Maybe could use NetFlow on those ports to send info to platform but would recommend getting NPM to monitor correctly

Make sure NCM jobs are running outside working hours, and these jobs are spread out enough to be able to complete successfully.

NCM is managing the node not the interfaces its NPM and that has a interface licence limit and this is what you are hitting. Is there a reason to disable as this is one of there newest features and I'm sure they would like to know the reason, and if there isn't a way to disable maybe the option can be added.

I would upgrade, as it will be the first suggestion from support but no major issues I have seen the odd bug but nothing that will stop the platform working correctly

Hi, both is possible, if your main poller has internet access it could download and copy files to all the servers ready for deployment. If it doesnt have internet access then copy to the server when you run the installer there is an option to copy to all servers. This will work if you have the recommend ports open.…
