yep. if you use IE10 or something with closer performance to chrome you will see some performance improvement at which point it's a personal preference issue, but latest chrome vs IE8 = substantially slower IE.
-
tomiannelli sounds like an easier way to monitor what you monitor for storage, maybe?
-
A valid question here is: When is this going to be migrated to be part of SWIS?
-
jiri.tomek I found this doing some searching after I had made the post and can confirm that in this case it did fix the issue.
-
There was a MIB update coinciding with the 10.4 version update, so maybe that is related?
-
Maybe I'll look at Hotfix 1 as well. We have some SSL certs that are set to expire 1/1/9999 and seem to parse okay, but in my case I found we had sites that were simply not running (nor will they ever be) but were configured.
-
This is legitimately amazing
-
I didn't see this before now, so I'm responding. Not sure if you're still open for finding out environment sizes.
-
at this point xenserver would be huge, considering about 80% of xenserver right now in solarwinds is basically sam templates.
-
Works pretty well, but you commented out most recently run jobs? I found myself changing that.
-
This is awesome. Time and time again I have people tell me that Orion is great but the interface for charts, etc look terrible. This is great timing even. Also, doing a [code] window doesn't work well for copy paste, so I'd suggest putting that into an attached textfile.
-
nickzourdos yeah if we're talking NTA this is an entirely different beast.
-
nickzourdos in the sample above I included how to filter for custom properties (multiple, even). You can do where IN ('value','value','value') if you don't need wildcards, but otherwise it's where X LIKE (value) and where Y like (value) or (value). Thus parenthesis above.
-
I believe nickzourdos specifically wanted that.
-
This is amazing. All I had to do was modify the custom property title and it looks great. What is the deal with days that have zero events, though? They give me:
-
wluther way more work emergencies, not a lot of a chance to test. Gonna put on HF3 and then re-look at this. lol.
-
mblackburn will check today
-
making more sense now, fiddling with this a little
-
I didn't modify any of the queries. I do have machinetype but clicking on a date gives me no pie charts wluther
-
wluther mblackburn where do we edit which custom properties filter the alerts? When I click, I don't get pie charts lol. Also, very awesome.
-
jreves please remind me, would this also replicate spfix?
-
are you referring to stuff like this sFlow: Exporting events using syslog - tgreenwell ? ( I've not heard of people asking for netflow data as syslog)
-
that is, unless you tell solarwinds to listen on that port - then it will still be collected but it still won't be syslog
-
sharing to my folks. I'm imagining they will have a lot of positive things to say about this soon

Emailed you an hour ago ding Thank you for the transparency and looking forward to a chat further in detail! I'd especially like to see how things like NBAR2 from Cisco (which can push some SIP data if configured accordingly) could be grabbed by VNQM as well, per NBAR2 or Next Generation NBAR - Cisco . It'd still be…
-
I've been trying to reach out to inquire about SIP and haven't heard back from ding since April. I'm curious but unsure where this sits at this point. Would be nice to have so I'm not using Netpath to poll the path to the SIP trunk like I mentioned to cobrien, though.
-
Any answer is an answer, so thank you mrs.alterego!
-
If there's no beta, where does that sit with things? Is there a general timeframe for the "next" release? q4 2016, etc? mrs.alterego drowning here with regards to trying to use VNQM when we don't really know when it's going to start supporting things that are relevant to my environment (SIP, PRI, handling other call…
-
ding any updates on timeline for this stuff? Not asking for things you can't promise, but general estimates? Specifically #1 on the priority list.
-
wow, was this ever made a note of anywhere else HolyGuacamole ? This is pretty huge.
