I'm suggesting a different method, dodo123 . If you want %st and then SORT by poller in the results. Not search again. Multi filters would still be nice and i do agree it's needed, but at least this would do closer to what you're looking for. Search results from manage nodes are based on the columns you choose to show.…

Bump. We have bought solidfire but we won't be able to integrate with srm?
-
I don't think they are, but even with the staff they have they are probably stretched quite thin between the many tools they work on. Sales is just after renewals - which if you want them to bug off, just tell them. They have a thread all about that and have improved quite a bit (as opposed to RSA, polycom and every…

Alright, I'm going to open up the FR's Jfrazier. Will hit you up with them momentarily.

Maybe? I could check our Ironport and see what's going on, but I'm getting a problem when I try to log in - it seems to actively refuse the password (or break the session via the ironport, theoretically). I'll have to try from home, which is not ideal. I wanted to work on building my nas

People are silly as all getout, and its sad that people would even consider believing such hype articles. No, bitcoin isn't likely to consume all the world’s electricity in 2020

Not really the same idea sir, sorry aLTeReGo I want to pick out of anything I see on a node details page or a specific tab, or screenshot a map without needing a screenshot application on my desktop. Yours is more interactive and has value (IE: here's my data, go pick through), but it's not something I'd expect a NOC to…

What. I'm going to be testing that. So this is cool to see for agents, but what about for a consistent set of nodes managed by the same polling method? I tested it with two orion servers (MPE + APE) and got no results.

This seems logical; UNDP is quite old in the tooth and I can't come up with an argument why it should still exist on the backend.

I actually loved watching a monitor degauss

Ok, if it's chrome? Clear temp files *AND* cookies. I've noticed something similar as of lately, especially if you're not using HTTPS bindings.
-
cobrien , the vendor only allows specific IP's which I can't put a netpath probe on to hit their SIP ports. Anything else, ICMP only.
-
I can see this being good for you guys as much as for us; I do think people may be a little bit confused as I don't recall this ever being done this way before
-
A good read/good topic. I like this one, sqlrockstar . I've completely stayed out of the delta scenario - I had only heard about it in passing and hadn't read anything. With what you've posted, I think it makes sense. I think I had a different opinion before I read up on this, but it really was an armchair view.

Resolution races, I like that.

@"brianj" are you actually able to get IPSLA's working on 9ks? I always wanted to but with MPLS that was basically a foregone conclusion

I have reached out to the VOIP folks on my team and will provide some feedback shortly.

Well now, that changes things!

2018 bump; do we know the status of this type monitoring within Nutanix?
-
I searched the forums and couldn't find what you're talking about thedl , aside from this thread and another post from you asking about SNMP informant standard and nothing else really. Can you help us understand what you mean? Do you mean how people have to install the SNMP service on windows servers?

rschroeder SIP uses 5060/5061, with *authentication*. It's not an open port/listening port, netpath cannot reach it. I tried that way before I commented on this netpath (see: 6+ months ago).

In looking at this, I wonder about methods to get Solarwinds to process this data. Is there a way to get this to be collected/processed as a part of NTA jreves ?

The attack on Dyn is a big deal, but interestingly Schneier said it's unlikely to be related to the foreign country pentests that are going on via DDOS. DDoS Attacks against Dyn - Schneier on Security

This sounds like the types of things that may be coming in the next version of NPM. FYI rob.hock ? These are certainly associated with some of the logic of what I had in mind when we spoke last Thursday.

I'm legitimately saddened that we have gotten to the point that we have to pay for TSA precheck because that our TSA is so awful Other countries don't do this stuff, so why we continue to do so when it's costing us money is beyond me.
-
Holiday bump! stevenwhunt we should totally talk about doing this someday.
-
I'm just going to give sqlrockstar props for putting his hat vertical .

I'll #bumpsquad this, in general Atlas does tend to look pretty dated. The fact that we have to use things like visio and/or draw.io just to make the map to pull back into atlas speaks volumes on how it could be improved

So kinda like the concept of postman/other browser based API tools but integrated into SAM, jmeredith ? Clarification: I like it.
