Can you give us a list of some of the IOSes you are encountering this issue on? thanks!
-
We are in the process of trying to reproduce the issue you are experiencing. I will let you know once we get more information.
-
Make sure that the SolarWinds Job Scheduler and Job Engine services are up and running. Take a look at the log file in C:\Documents and Settings\All Users\Applicaton Data\SolarWinds\EOC\PollingService.log. That will have any errors that may have occured. We are working on improving the user feedback why a poll failed.
-
I'll just say that you are not the first to ask for it. :)

Here is an updated link

I'm not aware of what was the resolution to the previous poster, but you are able to use local windows accounts with EOC. using domain accounts is not a requirement.
-
Bryan, Maybe I'm misunderstanding your request. You just don't want to use window accounts at all regardless if they are local or AD accounts because of security reasons or from a account management perspective? Would supporting Groups in EOC help with managing access to the EOC server? TGhosh, Accounts do not have to…

It is possible to set the AckowledgedBy column by issuing a SQL query against the AlertStatus table. However we don't officially support that and prefer that customers not go directly to the database.
-
I don't understand your comment. Can you please clarify? Thanks.
-
From the statistics you showed above, that doesn't seem to be a an operation that VoIP would have created. Can you try removing and readding one of the sites that's not working and run through the wizard again. I would suggest opening a ticket with support. They will be able to help you figure out why the 3 sits are not…

We recently have tested against Csico Unified Communicaitons Manager (CUCM) 6.1 not the express version. I do not yet have access to the express version to verify, but if it is anything close to the full version, it may have SNMP mib service disabled by default too.
-
At this point we do not have an official way for you to do this. We will look into providing a more official and supported way of creating your own resources in the future based on a query. When that will happen is not known at this time.

I would try using the "debug ip sla monitor error" command to see if it can shed some more light on the Internal Errors. The syntax for it would be debug ip sla error [operation-number] once you are done debugging it you can disable debugging by running no debug ip sla error [operation-number]

Btw, this is the EOC forum. You probably should move this thread to the Orion forum. However, this is a useful feature for EOC as well.
-
This was an issue in version 1.0 of EOC and it looks like it didn't make it into our service packs. This has been definately fixed in the next release and the logging is set to SIMPLE.
-
Unfortunately there isn't. Is it an option to do post processing on the column after you get the results?
-
Hi Dave, I agree the documentation is scarce. We are working on improving the documentation of the data model. As far as APM is concerned, you would find that data in the Orion.APM.PortEvidence entity. The ID column will be the ID of the component. You can find the ID by looking at the Orion.APM.Component entity which…

I don't currently have a setup to test this, but does the query work in the resource if you remove IN expression on the where clause?
-
You install the OrionSDK and go to the Samples/Powershell directory You can download the sdk by from the OrionSDK releases page
-
Yes you will need to copy that file over. Also if you are reinstalling on a brand new machine, you will need to copy a certificate from the original machine. The “SolarWinds EOC” certificate is used by EOC to encrypt sensitive data in the database. The certificate can be found through the “Certificate” mmc snap-in. It…

There shouldn't be that much of a difference. I know the network atlas team has been looking at optimizing some of the map rendering in regards to nested maps. I believe that is in EOC 1.1 sp1.
-
The list of pollers in the documentation needs to be updated. Attached is a list of the current pollers that the latest shipping version of Orion NPM.
-
Unfortunately the Manage and Unmanage verbs are not available for the Orion.APM.SqlDatabase . I have requested that the SAM team to add those.
-
We currently have a bug where acknowledgement functionality is broken when pass-through is used on the Orion server. We have this logged and will be looking at it.
-
The 64bit conflict was related to the EOC and Orion websites, so this is not an issue if you are installing an Orion Poller. EOC SP1 addressed this issue to allow EOC's website to install in a mode that allows it to run on the same web server as Orion. This however depends on the EOC installation occuring after the Orion…
-
That's correct. The SWIS service listens on ports 17777 and 17778.
-
We are looking into making it easier to add nodes.
-
How many Orions do you have? This isn't a requirement, but I'm guessing that some of your Orions do not have the same list of custom properties. It looks like there is a bug in our query where we expect values to appear for the custom properties for each Orion. If this is your case, one workaround for now is to give all…

What is the full version of your IOS? If you look at the cisco feature navigator http://tools.cisco.com/ITDIT/CFN/jsp/index.jsp and look by the name of your imag, that should tell you what type of IP SLA operations it supports.
-
Unfortunately, not at this time.
