That's exactly what we are transitioning too also!

Agreed! While Universal Device Poller has that option to manually set those levels, the component level doesn't at a gauge level. We have environmental monitors for our server rooms and it would be great to show a graphical with a graphical threshold on radial or linear gauge.
-
A way for VNC to use it as well would be nice. The admin guide only states Windows Vista or above. We use CentrifyDC and we need to use VNC to remote GDM sessions. Only problem is that we need it for VNC in our DoD environment.

Ok, awesome. I honestly didn't know that was possible. So, I will give that a shot first thing Monday morning. Thanks for the quick feedback!

Agreed! It's still using a weak hashing Algorithm: SHA-1 with RSA encryption. Should be using SHA-256 at least. It would be nice to have the ability to import certificates during configuration wizard process.
-
Precisely! Same here! When there are numerous decimal places, we have to transform the result so it's legible. I think adding the transform result to PerfStack was an oversight.
-
For our environment, this would be a great feature!

@"serena" Yes, that's the next step.

@"aLTeReGo"is there a quick fix for the black box AppInsight "Value From Last Poll" to be put in the right area? Right now on my pages with the latest HF / version, my data values are not in the right aligned column. They are at the beginning of the graph.

On our development server, I upgrade NPM, NCM, NTA to the new 2019.4 version. On this newer version, seems that the cipher suite issue was fixed within the rabbitmq.config. However, if you enable FIPS, it still prevents RabbitMQ to establish a TLS handshake properly. I removed TLS 1.1 from the config to force to use only…

Having the exact same issue on any of the "BlackBox" Insight monitors. The last polled data values are not in the right place.

@"jan.rachwalik"I created a Feature Request: https://thwack.solarwinds.com/t5/SAM-Feature-Requests/Solarwinds-API-Poller-to-Support-Application-XML-Header-Format/idi-p/605510#M4471 Thank you for letting me know!

We most certainly can give this a shot. Will update later on.

In our organization, we only utilize UDP 514 as our default syslog source. However, from what I was told from Solarwinds support that certain files are being unregistered from Windows Update. I'm seriously debating on reverting back to 9.6.

My ticket number is #00398641. We are in a government environment that requires FIPS but i don't think there is a STIG that I know of for RabbitMQ. Either way, it broke the message broker. I also went into the advance settings and set the "PubSub" to "MessageBus with WCF fallback." We have to go by STIGs in our environment…

Come to find out, it was a permissions issue with our environment variables under the advance system settings. In our environment, we don't allow network service to communicate in and out of a folder with the word %temp% or %tmp%. So it was pointed to another folder which I forced to have network service read/write privs…

I use to have this very problem and bashed my head for days on it. Kept getting an Application Error relating to .net with a generic 0x0000005 error. Once we verified HIPS and Active scanning wasn't the issue, I added the syslogd_manager.exe exception within EMET. That allowed the program to open right up!
-
Even after changing it to Accept */* , I get the same thing. I forced it to try Application/JSON and get an HTTP 406. So I assume they don't allow JSON format. Are there any plans for Solarwinds to support Application/XML format? Even if I remove the accept header, I still get an HTTP 406 error.
-
If that's the case, I will go ahead and create a feature request for WPM unless someone else already beat me to it. Thanks for the quick response!
-
Karlo, Was there any resolution with this idea? We have found several errors ourselves in regards to what Mr. Browning stated. A help lookup or guide for this to alleviate any possible issues with Solarwinds is a plus in my book!

bkyle, You're actually working with me on this ticket right as of now. #816768 Just wanted to go through this up here to see if anyone else has run into the same issue I'm having. 1. The version of 2012 is Storage Server 2012x64 2. Upon a fresh install, we don't have anything listed in the errorlog.txt file. 3. No, Kiwi…

Ok I'll give that a shot. I didn't know if SAM had something very similar to chart out a service. Very similar to how if you were in the performance monitor on a Windows server and you clicked a check box under the disk tab to see its performance metrics.

SNMPwalk'ed the device and returned nothing from that both the Tandberg MIB or the Cisco Telepresence MIB. Saw a lot from the MGMT-MIB and the NET-SNMP MIB (which I imagine is locked down through the SNMP daemon). I tried to use 1.3.6.1.4.1.5596.10.x where the teleconference tables reside and states that numerous OIDs are…

Ticket was started yesterday Case# 878845 Waiting for a reply from Solarwinds.

I gave that a shot already. I even installed into a different location just to be sure. No changes. It only happens when I want to change the font type from MicroSans MS to lets say Times New Roman...

These nodes were already in Solarwinds when I upgraded to the latest version. But, upon update, it kept adding all other device vendors that doesn't need UDT polling. I was quite baffled that it was doing this dynamically. Solarwinds support issued me a hotfix. Now the hotfix is on the customer portal page.

Not sure if it's a Network Atlas issue because when I open Network Atlas, all the maps, objects, and backgrounds works fine within the editing tool. When you go to the actual webpage is when it doesn't work properly.
-
Would a page re-direction work? Maybe once you're authenticated to the website via CAC, Solarwinds could re-direct you to a login banner with an OK button. Once clicked, it will take you to your "Home" view. I don't know if that's feasible but typically most DoD websites has a DoD disclaimer/banner and then you accept the…

We have ours setup into "Security Groups" within AD. We then add them to the Orion website / define permissions. Once completed, users on our end are able to get into the website based on their .ctr or .civ login. IIS for us uses SSO with "required" certificates. Just ensure that IIS uses NTLM to negotiate the…

Sean.Martinez, Since the release of NPM 12.0 are there any updates or changes to this procedure? Any progress or updates towards having a DoD standard banner at the top of website(extra tasks bullet)? Just curious.
