Of course we all do! Aren't we "In it to Win IT" abynum

This is a fine line to walk. We, in a whole, want to be as mobile and productive as possible. While on the other hand we need to have the security and conformance piece of the puzzle. These two need to match precisely and snug with no flaws. This being said, I see the future where there will be problems and breeches…

Oh so sweet! Nice going!

No it does not. In theory and the real world, you can not change "Work Hours"...

Re: Question 5, I want all of the answers plus be able to automatically fix all the issues while on vacation in Hawaii, Skiing the Alps, Hiking in South America and Hunting in Africa! Am I asking to much!

I say it is the existence of Dark Matter that is tweaking the light rays.

I just found out that you can disable all actions in the action manager tab in "Manage alerts" IF they are all on. This way you do not have to document which ones are on and off in the "Alert Manager" I can live with this.
-
Yes, as other options mature SolarWinds is getting very expensive! Our company will be looking else where. Don't get me wrong, it is a nice product but at a large price.
-
I would advise to place a simple suppress all alerting check box on the "Alerts and Reporting" page. This would act the same as "disable all actions" in Advanced Alert Manager on the alerting engine from previous version. PROBLEM SOLVED for everyone if you would implement this. In the first place, I do not see why this…

Our NOC view has been set up to be for ISP specific, We need to know right away when nodes go down, with in a click, know how long they have been down, network issues, config changes that may have affected the network and so forth. The only thing that has stopped us from making more changes to our NOC page is time. Other…

BOOM! Points are there this morning.

The world should be more like your team! Those are AWESOME!!!

">dhinton1@peoplepc.comI would recommend calling SolarWinds support. Hopefully your software is under a maintenance agreement. You will be able to get the help you need for upgrading and the path to follow. I would defiantly play around with it before upgrading. You can also go to the "Programs and Features" to see what…

SolarWinds got back with me and placed a pause before the enable command. Here are the two lines of code that I entered for a new Device Template called Adtran_No_Enable. <Command Name="FreezeLoginForPreCommand" Value="True"/> <Command Name="PreCommand" Value="enable"/>

If there are any other Thwackers out there that need some of the same assistance, I would be up to helping them get there goods! What are friends for? We are all on the same team and that is an AWESOME idea ">danielgilbey

There is a way to export one at a time but it is greyed out after selecting more than one. They are probably working on a addition to this. I just upgraded from NCM 7.3.2, NMP 11.0.1, SAM 6.1.1, IPAM 4.2 --- to NCM 7.4.0, NMP 11.5.2, SAM 6.2.2, IPAM4.3. I should have exported my alerts BEFORE the upgrade. Now experiencing…

We also use NPM and NCM. Love the ease of NCM for many reason. Once setup and pulling configs for all devices we have it email the difference from the last pulled config and email just the changes to us with who did the last change. You can get very specific with alerts off of NCM. We do not but you can configure it to…

That is Super Awesome! Congrats!
