Weren't we supposed to have a backlog of Thwack points deposited from previous months where missions weren't working? My balance has remained unchanged since the store came back.
-
At least you have won. I've been doing this since 2016 and never won a single thing. Which is fine because I have gotten a few nice things with the THWACK points. I'm only a few thousand points away from a replacement for my aging backback… however, neither the store nor the missions have shown their face. If I didn't have…

The question was looking for the 1 thing you should not do, not the 3 things you should do.

I've been ctrl+clicking for as long as I can remember, does the same thing!

Names inspired by the Marvel comics universe.

I agree that the structure of the question seems to present 3 statements... but with some deductive reasoning it's safe to assume that the FIPS 140-2 and "better security" statements are really one combined statement speaking to the security of the product. The inclusion of the bolded word below may offer some clarity to…

Thanks, looks good now!

Can't help but comment on Q17 - If people have to do this much digging to find the answer, this trivia question is having the opposite marketing effect that it should. You want the product to be quick and easy to spot changes. If people have to dig and dig and dig and still not find what's changed about a server... that's…

Sneaky trick question today. The top portion of the hint page only mentions part of the correct answer... but if you scroll all the way down you get the whole answer in it's entirety. Pretty lame to be disqualified in such a fashion. Oh well.
-
Wow - that section the webpage is an image so you can't use the Chrome find feature to search for the OS. Yeah I guess it's on me for not reading through the entire hint page but I mean.... really?

A new 3rd gen Ryzen PC build is on my Christmas list. Also a 144hz 1440p Freesync monitor to go with...

For the TV (if you are in the market for a budget TV) in my opinion the TCL 6 series can't be beat. Only $750 for a 65" 4k, with HDR and a Full Array Local Dimming backlight, plus the built in Roku. Excellent value and really great looking picture for how inexpensive they are.

I took one for the team, and answered as if it were a typo and assumed it was supposed to be "Which of the following can't be monitored with ARM?" Answering in this way will result in a red X.

I also found that frustrating. Clicking the "Release notes" link just takes you to the documentation search page, where you have to manually enter "Helpdesk 12.7.1 Release Notes" into the box yourself. Surely in 2019, we have the means to link directly to a document.
-
For Day 15 I'm getting "Post doesn't contain poll"

Moving from Fortinet NGIPS and Email Security Gateways to Cisco's offerings.
-
petergwilson I agree, the format of the response options isn't helping the situation. It should be radio button where there's a single answer, and checkboxes if you're looking for multiple responses as has been the precedent for these missions for quite some time.
-
Yes I was able to find the correct answer after looking up the release notes from the documentation page.

Question 12... there's always one designed to thin out the people getting rewards. Truly awful.
-
Kicking myself. Really wanted a shot at that standing desk but forgot to login over the Holiday weekend to answer the final 2 questions.
-
Got the question right, but I feel like we're doing people a disservice by calling a statement (which is accurate) "wrong" just because it's not listed in the particular whitepaper that's linked in the help. If finding the correct combination of answers to a check-all-that-apply requires you to go against common sense or…

All green checks this week. My son has been asking for that Lego set for months. Fingers crossed! Edit: PriceIsRightLosingHorn.wav

What would I like to not carry into 2019? Users opening email attachments and clicking URLs without verifying anything having to do with the email or who it came from.

Looking to add a few speakers to my Sonos system, and a couple cameras to my Ring system as well.

MFW submitting my answers today:

You are overthinking it. Usually with these you just need to select what's written on the hint page verbatim. Even if that item isn't specifically a 'metric' by those in the know.
-
Ok thank you, I think that answers the question. It is unfortunate that we can't perform manual searches against our historical data in LEM for the purpose of testing correlation rules. Is this a feature that may be added at some point? Where can I submit a feature request? Also, the primary logic in the rule is "Any…
-
Yes, this works for mine. See screenshot below. But is there a way to bring the rule logic over to the nDepth search so that I can do a historical search of all events that would match that rule logic criteria? I would like to be able to do this for 2 reasons. 1) Tune my existing correlation rules to eliminate noise and 2)…

This seems to be the issue. I narrowed my event group down to 3 event types, and I was able to perform advanced settings on source IP. While that is the answer... I can't help but be frustrated by the lack of functionality here. How would I even know which event types have Source IP as a valid parsed field unless I pore…
