Just missed this opportunity apparently. I installed LEM for background a few months ago. Then last week for real at a customer site. As I poke around in it, I find myself wanting to do field extractions Splunk-style. Still getting my bearings. Like an ape with a Rubik's cube.

If you approach this as an alert, you will have some options with respect to duration of condition. Your alert doesn't really need an action, so don't get too wrapped around the usual alert use cases. You could then make a report against the alert.

What if you change 'AVERAGE' to '*' in each of the last two lines?

Get a CMD window on your server and type the command "issreset" command to restart the IIS service so it can read in the new binding info you added. You should be able now to start your Web…

Believe this applies to SAM as well: DirectLink account http://www.solarwinds.com/documentation/orion/docs/orionnpmadministratorguide.pdf page 344

You could poll a MIB for routing table and one for CDP neighbors. Perhaps configure syslog or trap for routing changes. Alert on any/ all of these. https://thwack.solarwinds.com/community/solarwinds-community/product-blog/blog/2013/12/12/routing-tools-overview-for-network-performance-monitor-105

This comes close to what you requested, except is a pie chart: https://thwack.solarwinds.com/docs/DOC-191677

I believe you will want to make use of groups here. Make a group called Store A. Inside it, make a group called Store A Routers. Inside the Routers group, make a group called Store A Up and another group called Store A Down. Make group membership for each dynamic leveraging custom properties. Repeat for Store B, Store C,…

As a workaround, you could do a report/ SQL/ SWQL query. For a report in Report Writer, just make your poller name queries in the desired order: https://support.solarwinds.com/Success_Center/Network_Performance_Monitor_(NPM)/Add_a_Universal_Device_Poller_to_a_report Note that from the above, you can view the SQL underneath…

I second what ">bluefunelemental said. Insulate yourself from changes by using SWQL. Nothing like the heartbreaking feeling of seeing your precious SQL query stop working after you've spent countless hours getting it just the way you want it--and all you've done was upgraded NPM.

You could poll the cseTcamUsageTable in CISCO-SWITCH-ENGINE-MIB Cisco Nexus 9000 Series NX-OS Release Notes, Release 9.2(1) - Cisco

Looks doable based on https://www.juniper.net/documentation/en_US/junos12.3/topics/topic-map/mib-dom.html Per the above link, you should be able to poll or trap useful information. Documentation or a MIBwalk should get you OIDs to match. One or more of these are likely what you will want to monitor:…

Your polling engine that you have taken down can't write information to the database if you have shut down relevant services or turned the polling server off. The database won't 'know' status of nodes that are no longer being polled. You have some options for high availability. Here is one link:…
-
If you determine an OID that you want to poll, you don't necessarily have to consider this a SAM solution. NPM universal device poller can be created instead. One advantage of doing in SAM is ease in showing up/down/warning icons tied to specified ranges.
-
If you have SAM licensed and know the OID you want to poll, you should be able to do this: http://www.solarwinds.com/documentation/en/flarehelp/sam/content/sam-snmp-monitor-sw3302.htm The process will look like this, but the OID you identify should be substituted in step 7. If you don't know the OID, vendor documentation…

Believe you could just do a search in Manage Nodes.
