Hi Kay, You can't save the output to a NCM variable. However, you can use the full power of the device shell -- if it can use variables, you can store the show time value there and then to the snmp variable. Regards, Jiri

Can you please share the ticket number? Jiri

I'm afraid the versions of agent and Profiler server need to match. Please upgrade all components to 6.2.2.. Jiri

Hi, Yes, that's exactly the way -- there are two jobs: * Database and Archive Maintenance and * Purge Configs Make sure to configure both of them properly in order to keep your NCM in a good shape. Regards, Jiri

Hi mjwhite, you should verify your login credentials. * In NCM application, Node List, double-click on the device you are interested in. * First maybe check whether you can reach the device at all: in top right corner, click Actions -> Ping Node. * If the node is reachable, then click Actions -> Validate Login Information.…

Hi, Is the problem solved now? I found a resolved support ticket regarding a similar problem in our customer database, but I'm not sure if it's yours. Jiri
-
I think the problem here was that NCM 7.3 didn't know you restored a 7.2 DB on a new server. The DB migration is done during the upgrade while in your case, NCM just thought it's a fresh installation. Jiri

Please check your customer portal. NCM 7.4.1 HF2 that addresses this problem should be available for download. Jiri

No problem, let's figure it out. I guess the account you are using is not a full Orion admin. Check here: * Settings -> User Accounts -> Manage Accounts * Edit the account you are using. * Make sure that "Allow Administrator Rights" is set to Yes. * When you scroll down to "Network Configuration Manager Settings", make…

I suggest creating a feature request / voting item then. Jiri

fabi, I have moved your question to the appropriate space as it's not directly related to NCM. I hope you get assistance here. Regards, Jiri

Steve, This is currently not possible with NCM but we've been tracking it as feature request. If you want, you can create a voting item in the Ideas & Feature Requests space. Regards, Jiri Message was edited by: Jiri Cvachovec

Acy, The release candidate will be there soon. I hope you will be able to use your current license key without problems. Jiri

Acy, Sorry for the delay of my answer. Do you think you could go through the steps one more time? Another customer, who also installed the Beta, informed me that the procedure worked fine for him and he is able to use HTTPS. Please let me know your results. Regards, Jiri

Hi Alex, Thanks for the information. I'm glad to hear that the issue was resolved. Regards, Jiri

Hi Amir, I'm not sure what should be fixed. You have to update NCM inventory in order to have the interfaces available for config change templates. Regards, Jiri

Thanks for sharing. It may be a useful hint for others in a similar situation. Jiri

Steve, Looking back at my answer, there is a obvious nonsense: @myip = @myip + @ContextNode.AgentIP Of course you need only a certain octet from that IP address. This is possible with the upcoming NCM 7.1 -- you can even download the release candidate now, if you have active maintenance for NCM. The Config Change Templates…
