Hi bharris, I took a look at jasadelll's support case. The key point want uninstallation of the 7.0.2 integration module. Then, NCM 7.1.1 installed successfully. Regards, Jiri

Hi, There are a couple of Cisco policy reports available out of the box and many more in NCM Content Exchange here on thwack. I haven't seen the DSS report though. Regards, Jiri

If you are not interested in the backup at all, you can create a new device template, point e.g. running config to /etc/hosts and use indirect config download (TFTP or SCP) -- see the thread in my previous answer.

ShadowLawz, I suggest opening a support case. Jiri

Dave, Could you please say/post link which F5 template exactly are you referring to? We might want to add it to NCM by default, so it would be great to be sure. Thanks, Jiri

The erase command may be part of the template, but it's not mandatory. Feel free to remove it from the template. Jiri

A new voting Idea would better for visibility (i.e. better for you). Jiri

Finn, Do the AudioCodes devices have the possibility to download the config files via TFTP or SCP? It might help. Regards, Jiri

Can you please share a screenshot? I'm not 100 % what exactly you are talking about. Jiri

Hi, Actually import/export of the scripts is currently not included -- that would be a feature request. This functionality is available for config change templates. Regards, Jiri

This information is obsolete. We will update NCM Admin Guide. Thanks for letting us know. Jiri

How about this one: ? Jiri

Nico, You'll need to go through a small troubleshooting exercise. I suppose you have NCM 7.0.x. In the Win32 client, go to File -> Settings and enable session tracing. (If you happen to have NCM 7.1 RC, you can do the same in NCM settings in the Web UI.) Then try to download the config again. You can find the trace on the…

Hi damo, with help of our support team I have the answers: Q1 The only thing we do via SNMP is download configs. You cannot issue a command via an snmp set. Q2 Correct. Regards, Jiri
-
Hi Mike, have you tried this one: ? Regards, Jiri
-
Hi Jason.Henson, Unfortunately, there's no change. We are aware of this feature request, but it's not planned for near future. Regards, Jiri
-
milewideinchdeep, I have moved your question to NPM/Core space as the authentication process is handled by the Orion platform / Core. Regards, Jiri
-
Hi Tomaz, Thanks for posting the solution, it's an interesting lesson learned. I'm glad to hear that config downloads work again. Regards, Jiri
-
Hi pstoian, In order to download configs, you don't need config change templates but device templates. The one referred above (Alcatel 7210-M-1.3.6.1.4.1.6527.6.2.1.2.2.1.ConfigMgmt-Commands) should work for your devices. If you have NCM 7.4 connected to the Internet, then you can import this template directly from the web…

NCM 7.3 only supports two scenarios: * NPM and NCM installed on the same server and integrated * NCM installed on a separate server and not integrated with other Orion modules Regards, Jiri

Hi, I checked with our engineering team and unfortunately, you can only monitor one config type with RTCD. You can post a feature request, if you want. Regards, Jiri
-
Good to hear that

Hi Chad Shaw, The issues of the other customer were caused by different problems with the installation. In the end, NCM was re-installed and some permissions were adjusted. I believe the best thing here is opening a support case; you can refer to case 596962 -- that could help the support rep look in the right direction.…

Then I'm sorry. The maintenance contract can be, of course, renewed. Regards, Jiri
-
Glad to hear that .

Steve, I have seen such requirement a few times, but it's not really popular. Regards, Jiri

You can create your policies in Web UI, too. Jiri

Yes, or SCP for security reasons. Jiri
-
Hi, could you please include more details what you would like to have? Regards, Jiri

Kenneth, regarding issue 1: please take a look at the NCM Admin guide, e.g. at http://www.solarwinds.com/documentation/orionNCM/docs/OrionNCMAdministratorGuide.pdf, chapters 5 and 6. It is good to understand how device templates work. Then, knowing the steps to back up the configs manually, you can turn these commands into…
