Has this request fallen off the radar?

Do you happen to have the APM module installed? If so, did you happen to add some new monitors? We added some for our liebert UPS devices and it killed our poller. Support stated that it was due to the OID being a table.

I also opened a ticket with SW support requesting some assistance and they were completely unwilling to assist with any part of the integration. They did however, provide a nice doc that explained how to send an email generated by an alert to the "TTS". Once we work through the process, I will post what we come up with.…

Hello, We are in the beginning process of implementing Service-Now in our organization and I have been asked integrate SN with SW. I see there are a few people that have inquired about this already, however, there does not seem to be anyone that has done anything in terms of integration. We have some time with a consultant…

This has not worked for me at all. I would get alerts all the time that the AP was down and it wasn't. I have resorted to adding all the AP's as ICMP only (in the process) and setup alerts based on this. Chuck

I am experiencing this as well. We are running NPM 9.1 SP5 as well. Currently we are seeing this with VM servers as well as Cisco Call Mangager servers.
-
Son of a gun, that worked. We'll go back to our Service Now consultant and see if they can do the same idea in their code. Thanks!
-
Yeah, I see it now. Nevermind. Thanks!
-
I just submitted the feature request. Thanks for the suggestion! Chuck

Ok, I think I have it done correctly however, I was thinking that some how Orion my group alert would suppress the individual device alerts. Let me run this past you and you tell me if I have it done correctly: I created a group called Atlanta and I added a dynamic query for all the devices at this site with the exception…

We tried turning debug logging on, and now there's a lot more log entries... but we still aren't really seeing anything relevant. Might just not be looking for the right stuff, but we tried searching the log for the source IP, parts of the service name (OrionBasic), etc etc. Here's the relevant parts of the C# code. Pretty…

After installing SP2 the report works. Thanks!
-
Did you get this to work?
-
We are having this issue as well. I logged a ticket with SW and they basically told me to check google for a resolution or reinstall IIS.
-
Thank you for your suggestion! I will take this to the group and get their feedback. Is there anyone else out there dealing with this and if so, how are you doing it?
-
Bump again?

This worked great. Thank you for your reply!

Service Now is using Javascript, which I believe is compiled into Java code to run server side. We have written a test script in C# 4.0 as well. In either case, we've gotten to where we are able to run an SWQL query to collect information on an alert, but when we attempt to acknowledge it, we receive this return, and the…

Yann, I created the alert and now I will be setting up the test enviroment to make sure that it works but what you provided looks great. Thank you very much for the speedy response!! Chuck

Thank you!!

By installing the APM module I will be able to monitor the performance counters? This could be good news.

Thank you for the help. I do have this alert configured for a node. The end result I would like to accomplish is to see what the util on my circuits are when I have high response times from my nodes.

"Actually, after taking a look at the OID itself, that particular OID is just a System Identification OID." I realize that now after looking into it further. "What information are you looking to get from the 7845H?" I am trying to correctly report the Memory utilization for the device. Currently it has 4GB installed but…

Thanks for the explanation!

Hello Marie, I have searched the content exchange and I was not able to find anything. Thanks! Chuck
-
Was there a resolution to this issue? I am getting this as well.
-
I would still need to view each switch and list the resources and check each box. I am hoping that maybe there is a way to do this via an SQL query of some sort. Unfortunately, I have issues just spelling SQL. Thanks for the suggestion though!

I am unable to pull down a config from our WLC 4402 using the user created content. Will there ever be SW support of these devices?
-
Do you modify the custom property for every device that is under maintenance each time you perform maintenance?
-
I created the groups and then I created a dependency with the router as the parent and the group (dynamic query) as the child. Is there another step I am missing? Do I need to suppress the individual device alert? Do I need the individual device alert anymore?
