  • Wow, happened to me once more, with me being very, very careful. So I made a video of it and had it happen again and opened a case with the video of my screen!
  • Hmm... There are a couple discussions that are quite good that you might want to read through. The first is this, but I should warn you that while the discussion is good, the solution doesn't work in all cases!! Automated Config clean up I did finally figure out a solution that works in all cases in this discussion…
  • Hmm.. So let me get this straight. You want to find any occurrence of 192.168.0.100 and replace it with 192.168.0.101. I think you're first problem is using scripting vs. Compliance Manager, but we'll get back to that in a bit. I can see several problems with doing this. For instance, lets say you had following instances…
  • Try using FTP, much faster. Never had luck with SCP myself! I can see wanting to run SSH to encrypt your commands/passwords to the device, but I honestly never saw the value in encrypting the transfer of an IOS image that pretty much anyone can download from Cisco or get in any number of other ways than sniffing your…
  • One question I would have is where are you marking the traffic? Are you marking it on the Ethernet interface of the router that has the WAN interface you are looking at? If so, think about this... When are Netflow packets sent? Is there one sent when you receive a packet on the inbound interface of a router and another one…
  • A quick look tells me that Netflow is only supported on "Enhanced Ethernet Line Cards" for BVI's, not A9K-SIP-700 line cards or ASR 9000 Ethernet Line Cards. Not knowing your config it could be this. More details would help, both in terms of the hardware you're working on and the Netflow configuration you're using? Here is…
  • I think this error is for the credentials you use to log into AD, ie: what's above the screenshot. Try putting in your credentials as "ADMIN\domain" or try different credentials like your own.
  • Hmm... I think the problem here is that all the properties are "valid" for any given node type, they're just probably generally blank for different types of nodes (ie: Cisco vs. Windows). SWQL like SQL is pretty stupid when it comes to realizing that the field "IOSImage" is probably blank for all nodes where the Vendor is…
  • Well, it can't stretch across 100% of the page as the logo is a graphic in the foreground rather than a background image, so it will bump into the "Username (LOGOUT)" in the top right corner (and "Settings" if you have access). But the logo can be quite long and stretch across most of it. Typically you can go edit the HTML…
  • In that case I'd recommend putting the whole subnet in, and then going to "Manage Subnets & IP Addresses" and select the one's you want to change their status on to and then choose the "Set Status" dropdown and change them to "Reserved" or whatever you want. Whether you wait for it to scan the subnet or not is your choice.
  • Typically I think you'd add the DHCP server in, and allow it to discover the subnets from the DHCP server if I remember right...
