SO .... I bring up the point again to Solarwinds.. Can you explain why we are seeing this? (i.e. DS3 Link with occasional Max of 60 Mbps).. Please respond
-
yes you are correct.... thanks for catching this. I reccreated this alert as an example for this screenshot.

Thank you thank you.... I will try this out... much appreciated...

Hi Gob... I am not really a SQL expert, but I do find this report very worthwhile. The one thing I would like to do is to modify this report so only certain devices are displayed (i.e. routers and switches and not firewalls) based upon a custom property field (created in custom property editor) called "device_type" I would…

Thanks for the reply- as you can see by the screenshot, I have not been figure out how to promote the simple conditions "AssignGroup..." or "demote" the second trigger "Trigger Alert when any of the follow apply" Just wondering if this is a problem with 9.0 sp2.. I noticed you are using sp1

yah unfortunately this works only with basic Alerts.. but it appears not Advanced Alerts which I need to use..... Comments Solarwinds Team!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

thanks.. This worked regarding the filters... The one I would like to do is add two more "columns" to the table "Site_Location" and Device_Type" but I am not sure how this can be done.. so it would look something like this... Caption Site_Location Device_Type OutageDurationInHours OutageDurationInMinustes router XXXX las…

thanks .. this helped... one other question... How would generate a report like for the last 7 days... It does not look there is a option to select a timeframe.
-
Thanks Kevin I will try this out... chuck
-
This worked... thanks

Hmm I tried your suggestion: Trigger when all apply AssignedGroup = WAN (then I have a condition group) trigger when any apply RCV over 70% XMT over 70% It looks this would work, but for some reason an Alert is trigger ONLY if "RCV over 70%" and "XMT over 70%" are met. if only one of the conditions is met (i.e RCV over…

Thanks.. I will give this shot... I knew it was pretty easy to figure out. I am just not familiar with condition groups and how they work.
-
thanks .. I will try that
-
Hi.. Thanks for your response.. This looks very good.. however the thing I would like to do is graph two different OID's on the same graph.
-
Hi I would like show the ${variable} in the message field for Advance Active alerts much like "basic" alerts
-
I have same kind of question regarding a Point to Point DS3 link... My polling is set to 5 minutes and I will occasionally see min/max reach up to 60 Mbps.. Maybe somebody in Solarwinds can explain why this is occuring...
-
Thanks this is very helpful

Thanks for the information.. this is very helpful

I would like to add this to the report writer request- The ability to display availability of interfaces- For example I would like to display the % uptime for Frame Relay, T1, DS3 and OC3 WAN links. Any help would greatly be appreciated....
-
I am also looking for this too.... I do see that there are reports that generate availability for Routers and switches....

Just thought I would chime in here.. to plug for the product my company develops... Symantec PcAnywhere... Also, you don't have the issue with the 8-bit video limiation as you do with temincal services
-
just an FYI: I too have been evaluating NetQoS Reporter Analyzer.. I inquired about the Solarwinds "plugin" and they have informed me that there has not been enough interest in this product so they will no longer be developing this product to plugin with Solarwinds
-
Sounds great... I use NetQos for application monitoring and troubleshooting

Hi a basic HTML question regarding the following - generating a webpage based upon the sample script from Network guru.. <br> <img src="/NetPerfMon/Chart.asp?Chart=MMAvgRTLoss&NetObject=N:960&Period=This Year&SampleSize=1D&ReBuild=TRUE&FontSize=Medium&Width=800&Height=0"> <br> I am not able to get the graph to display on…

I am having the same problem.. and I have also upgraded to 7.5
-
I believe you can request this from Tech Support- I evaluated this several months.. Its not bad.. One of the major drawbacks is that you can't manage maps with the admin package, You will still have to copy maps to the server and make changes from the server.
-
I know this would be easy to create, but I would like Solarwinds show availability of router switch interfaces... for example availability of WAN links... Solarwinds can show availability of Routers... why not interfaces...
-
I have a similiar need for this too... and unfortunately I not an expert with SQL..

It displays the last XX syslogs for the node... I also have a win32 app that uses a GRID(see link below) that allows us to quickly…
