I kind of expected that. But I was wishing that since this has been requested for quite some time and Brocade is pretty much the standard for SAN's it would have been added, or at least a viable workaround.

this would be great for us as well. the thought is that an engineer would get an alert, respond to it. The solarwinds server would poll a mailbox to look for emails, mark the alert acknowledged and put the person's email address in as who acknowledged it. Is this at all possible with Solarwinds or just a pipe dream?

Have you been able to link 2 switches together, draw a line and have the line reflect the link utilization? the only way i have been able to get close to this functionality is to add every component. Such as add server, add nic, add switchport, add switch, add egress switchport, etc.

bump. I assume that no one else is monitoring the PRI utilization?

Did you get a response to this? I'm getting the same thing for a 6509 with SUP32's. 6509#sh memory System Memory: 524288K total, 279216K used, 245072K free, 1000K kernel reserved Lowest(b) : 245108736

I'm pretty sure that when you do the discovery, you have the option to specify the network and mask in step 2. Does this not work for you?
-
I see the same thing. But it's odd, I only see the grouping if there is more than 1 grouping. However, the lines are there.

after following the guidance in this post.... My issue is resolved.

I'm not sure if I'm giving you what you're asking for, but: Juniper WXC Appliances (Peribit) 1.3.6.1.4.1.8239.1.2.8 Juniper IVE (Neoteris) 1.3.6.1.4.1.2021.250.255 Juniper DX (Redline) 1.3.6.1.4.1.6213 Brocade SAN Switch Module 1.3.6.1.4.1.1588.2.1.1.37 Cisco LWAPP 4402 Wireless Controller 1.3.6.1.4.1.14179.1.1.4.3

I had the same problem due to Internet outage issues. We ended up buying Notepager to accomplish this. This way we could utilize a modem for an Internet outage (pinging Google or Yahoo), or mail server issues.
-
We had the same problem with Nortel 450 stacks as well. Upgrading didn't have any affect. We ended up having to configure each interface manually before migrating to Cisco.
-
I had the same issue posting a ticket earlier today. I tried again a couple hours earlier, but haven't heard anything back. I assume it went through, otherwise I'll just submit another one tomorrow.
-
Once again, I assume that Solarwinds cannot do this and a bug must be filed?
-
Same here. I'm tracking a bunch of serial connections for phone lines, which normally show as being down. Management gets concerned when they see things flashing.

We are in the same boat. I keep seeing reference to upgrade to v10 (which we have) but there is no documentation on how to accomplish this.
