Very nice details.

I can agree with that - but also with multiple areas that this setting may reside there has to be a hierarchy built in to determine what setting will rule the view

It's good to keep one machine, OFF Line.

Very nice. Having a set of standards to drive policy and dictate procedure are key to congruity across your network. If you are using contractors to do some of the manual labor having those metrics in your SLA makes all the difference in the level of work and consistency.

I almost went with a God Bump.. it's funny that your response somewhat resembles those memes I was looking thru.

Hidden Jewel! Very nice. And good Class Map, Service Policy review.

Awesome, thanks for the After Affect Assessment!

"Even in cases where IP documentation is manually and separately maintained, most of the time this data is incomplete or obsolete." How true is that statement!! If someone never puts in a request or updates the info then it's all useless.

Great points of consideration. And any platform you run must have the appropriate supporting hardware, otherwise you just watch the wheels spin.

Very nice indeed.

I had not, until now.... this could be good and I've enjoyed these actors work in the past also... specially Franco. Not sure if I'm going to spend any additional money to see it though.

I was taken over by the Jump Map and stuck checking all of Bakula's jump to Texas. Naturally. I bet Sam knows what really happened... Sam leaps into various points in the life of Lee Harvey Oswald (played by Willie Garson) in an effort to seemingly prevent him from killing President John F. Kennedyor find the truth about…

So true, user education is everything. Even with having mock breaches and phishing attempts not all users learn the importance. * sometimes it's just a hard lesson learned. I am sure those folks who lost their paycheck a few years back by clinking that link from an email and then 'logged in' more than likely remembered to…

Building out now and should be switching over to v12 by the end of the month.. already it's surpassed anything else we've seen in the past. Off the top, even with a massive load it's loading pages quick and not skipping a beat. Let's see if I can push this DB over a TB!

Never stop learning, never stop reading about the new "stuff". Of course as soon as it hits someone is already working on something bigger, better, faster and stronger. This idea in itself makes it impossible to know it all, or try and learn it all at once. Focus on the skills needed to keep and further the J I currently…

There is a regular schedule for this, and all server maintenance. We do have a Open systems and a Windows Hosting team that manage their own boxes respectively. I do other things.

Not so well received when put into place after Parkinson's Law. Parkinson's law is the adage that "work expands so as to fill the time available for its completion". I'd rather just spend time trying to slow the Earth's rotation to make our day's 35 hours. That should give me the extra 20% that I need. Some places I have…

indeed...a big shame. My bracket had Leela vs. Tiberius

I don't live in a Current Version world. What version would this be, and I will begin my effort's migrate forward. * I often see the grand new features and think... wouldn't be nice..

Can we update this to have multiple custom banners... different users want to be informed differently or about different area's.. also NOC views prefer no banner at all (or at least no logo) ... or should we have a new FR?.. I am voting this one up, but think it should be expanded. Add this custom option to the account…

What I wouldn't give to have telecom open their device to Orion (or even me to set it up for monitoring). All Excellent points, especially the one about the Secr..err, Administrative Assistant. Remember it's all about who you know, and AA's take care of a lot of people that YOU wish you knew.

I can't say I miss the days of folks, calling, emailing and stopping by to tell me about all their computer problems....though it is the place I learned to carry a magic wand. . . Thanks for the read, as it's good to have a few things to occupy all my found time these days.

The Service Desk that I came from went to a nice on line based FAQ for the simple, phone, email, VM and file management. Though we had our own internal FAQ/Tech Notes - to know who handled what systems, who reset what passwords - since there were a mass # of systems. The folks keeping all that up to date did not take calls…

they're not using photoshop... lol, maybe its photoshop Braincloud suite 27.... I love it when they 'write a program' to enhance or pixel match, since the program they had prior to that was merely insufficient. And writing a program is something you can get done over lunch.

There's one in Galveston, I'd like to take me old man on a B-17 ride. Lone Star Flight Museum

Indeed, this is a yes! I have been trying to do this since your post, I only searched today for this and found out that I am not the only one.

Enjoy the Show!

Awesome mfmahler !! Netflow is spotty at the moment and I don't operate it specifically.

I smell a feature request.
