If you enable this it should come with a warning, double acceptance required; notifying the user that displays, reports, alerts and other custom setup based on the Custom Property 'Name' could be affected.

Very nice. This deserves a 2nd read.

Emails are good, but if there is no system to generate a ticket number - you are going to have lots of fun. Lack of tracking - even with spreadsheets, not tracking the help your users need will keep you from seeing the trends. *What printers or connections are most problematic and what users may or may not need training.

Virtual contexts create the same Issue. You have to set your monitoring / log in parameters on each context when working with NX-OS, Hard Knox Lessons are remembered the most jbiggley

That's the only way to survive in the Network world, and just about every IT sense. Sometimes there is no 'playing through your mistake'.

Were in process with a POC, and moving forward I would like this. We need this for the expansion of use that we are about to experience! Grand Idea!

Transparent corresponds to opacity, but take that to the virtual world and it could amass to so much more. I've never tried to weigh lead and only bought it by the ounce, but I can still see the graphite in my finger from grade school. Maybe it's just a spot left, it's hard to tell because I can't quite see through my skin…

Oh yeah, I've been using these for some time. That along with taking syslogs with MAC addresses from the controllers for failed login attempts has helped find out dated credentials on devices causing account lockout. ... but it also generates a $# Ton of Emails... xtra cleanup - and I should probably have a rule there to…

Not at first, I haven't seen that show since I was a youngster. We also used to have a fella named Manuel at work and we would make him do all the manual labor.

Very nice! I can see discussions starting to encompass the entire IT structure with Virtual Server & Networking deployments, hybrid technologies, continued integration across applications & platforms, and DevOps. Do not forget DevOps Looking for updates!!! Keep us Posted Leon!

The only way to train users, is to guide them. Even then, some have their own expectations and won't take the guidance you may be trying to give. Either to a resolution or how to properly document or request something to make sure it gets done as needed/wanted. Regardless of how the ticket comes in, there must be more…

Now you're just being picky... but really we would need a few blends.. House - slightly amped - for your basic mornings, because Geek Brains have massive components that take longer to resurrect - like old electronics with Tube's Amped Breakfast Blend - Either for those Monday Mornings when you need an extra Jolt! or the…

Jfrazier couldn't be more correct with "Garbage in, Garbage out" - very nice detail here, and great points of learning and history.
