IT always starts with people, but if your Guru's have a lack of understanding for the need and process of creating policy and procedure then you simply lack Intent, as stated by RaviK Of course you must have a good understanding of users needs and the deliverable items they are counting on. Without the proper…

I knew it was there already. This thing took off from yesterday, though I'm not sure how that started.... though technically with the cat loose, all bets should be off. You only get copper coins if you try to rob the bookies today.

Someone paid for a tool, but I do not know if everyone graduated when it comes to mindset. I would learn more about MS IPAM if I did not have a choice..like some other things I learned, I do learn and learn it fast and well when it comes time to do so. Of course I think I would always push for the SW Orion Suite of apps to…

Retention is the key - but for anyone who feels stuck where they are at - change is the only option. - Nice breakdown of both ends of the spectrum. I find myself right there in the middle and maybe infosec is where I should be.. The trick is to find the perfect malleable turnkey candidate.

Sounds like they would also tell you that all emails are their property and you do not own them. And why would they have their lawyers subpeona anything that would exonerate you. I hope you have a good lawyer, You must work for the IRS. I am sure your ticket would remain in tact until you needed it for exoneration…

Very Useful. Patient care is always #1 in this world and not being able to treat causes all sorts of issues. Knowing how your Care Teams operate and how their systems work on your network is also key in gaining that visibility needed to provide proper support.

Yes, couple this with the Granular Node Management Rights and we will all be fine.

We have/had picky auditors. And I am not sure if the 'feeling' about that setup has changed since the consultant regarding this issue/setup has found himself elsewhere. But I will take this solution of a setup back to those involved sometime soon.

Good request, but you need to be careful of colors with matching or close saturation so we can maintain readability. At the least, no Red text contained within blue icons please.

I have yet to try our UPS email out notification. I am thinking we would still be relying on logs and polling for Orion NPM to change status or alert on anything via Orion. So our email out would be from that UPS to a tech or team. *Unless there is a way to get the email to the SW server for processing.

I am curious how well The Tap will fare against the Supernatural's "Missionaries" ;)

And you just did recently... thanks again by the way!

Messaging Center can focus in on specific events only, or specific events for specific nodes or other configured items/groups/etc. - Though the option to parse multiple event types in the messaging center would be nice.. consider a group of check boxes to enable display or hiding of event types - rather than just the drop…

You would have to do the calculations separately via a report at the moment*, BUT A 2nd table/Charting option that would fit/work around the un managed history AND possibly "Business Hours" (where you can set Day Start and Day End) would be a magical addition to my SW Orion Oh's. Though the 'Business Hours' might need to…

The only way the human factor is a factor at all is when one of your Hue-Mons decides the policies in place are just suggestions about operation. I have either seen these first hand or hear a tale of someone who breached the security of a company one of these same ways. (Of course they were hired by the company to do this)…
