I believe you are on the right track. I would create a Triggered Alerts - Past 24 Hour Report with the filter Result of Event Type is equal to Alert Triggered and then use the Orion Report Scheduler to email it to all team members you want to receive the report.

Had some minor issues with maps, Network Atlas, and SQL with RC1 and RC2 but since upgrading to RC3 everything seems to be working fine. Installation was flawless, especially with RC3.

Is the triggered alert copied to the reset? I know this is basic, but don't have an example of your working trigger. If it is copied over to the reset from the trigger, then actually seeing an example of a trigger and reset configuration would be necessary to help analyze the issue.
