I didn't find Syslog as one of the options in the pre made connector guide Connectors | Kibana Guide [8.4] | Elastic which is a surprise. Sorry, that's not going to work. 

The simplest way I can think of is to send a syslog message from Kibana to Orion. There are several other methods you could use as well.

If you own it, it should be located under My Dashboards then Applications. It is called SAM Summary.

What are trying to integrate with? We have created integrations with several 3rd party software vendors. 

When we installed the new version in our Test environment a new database was created for this. It's just a matter of time before the Thwack community starts creating queries against it and there will be new solutions to re-create the widgets.

I noticed that this is no longer stating RC after it when I checked so assuming this is the new 'official' version? Installing it in my Test environment today. Probably why you are getting the popups. My environment is firewalled off so no network connectivity or I assume I would probably be doing the same.
