Using AI to assist with building network topology maps. Similar to how Network Atlas allows you to auto-connect items based on data SolarWinds retains, if I could enter a prompt on the main page and just ask it "Hey can you draw me a network digram of everything connected to this switch" or "make me a network map of this…

All 20-correct; in it to win it.

NPM 12 is now live and rumor has it there are some significant schema changes. A published schema to review would be sweet

Perhaps I missed it but has an official release date for NPM 12 been set? Last I heard it was sometime in June. The suspense is killing me

this question isn't registering as answered for me on the main mission page either.

Availability. In an ICS/OT operating environment even minor glitches in availability could be life/death related. On premise & air gapped gives me the most control on that.

So hungry

Clouds is great; but not an option in most of the areas I operate in.

For some reason I answered the June 15th question correctly but it counted it wrong. At least I think I did; according to the referenced hint sheet. Hm..

For PerfStack the ability to correlate multiple metrics along the same timeline is crucial when troubleshooting. For AppOptics I don't know that it's a feature, per se, but the general design of being able to drill down & identify anomalies.

Good catch. I think I got the mall accurate now I hope. Referenced https://us-cert.cisa.gov/ncas/alerts/aa20-352a as my source. If there are different hashes I can certainly get them added. # Purpose: This snippet of PowerShell is designed to identify if the version of SolarWinds you're running is effected by the recent…

Ha I've done basically the same thing but baked in the publicly published bad hashes. This way you just run it and it tells you if you've got the bad files. Source code available to copy/paste on my website https://lanczak.com Note: I left the scope wide (all of C:\ volume) in case someone chose a non-default installation…

Yeah; blow it away and load NPM 12. Probably not the answer you're seeking but after months of troubleshooting and replacing pretty much everything we never did get it working right. The newest NPM 12 seems to work well though.

Yes in 10.7 you've got execute script, program, etc. Attached an image for reference:

Yes it's been out for a little bit. Still have an open support case; its a really odd issue.

Thanks for the quick response! That article seems to help; do you happen to know if this is the same for all other SolarWinds products? As in if I have NPM loaded would this access work fine for polling all the information it needs or is there a separate doc detailing any different permissions required? I'd imagine it's…

I'm looking for a similar table for Report ownership. I'm certain a similar UPDATE statement could be written to change owner on reports but I'm not having luck finding the reports equivalent of the AlertConfigurations table.

For now it's either with a ticket or call in. Users will call in and say "My Lync doesn't work" and most of the time it's not Lync related at all but since the end users open it as a "Lync Issue" our clients Lync team has to go through the paces to rule it out before pawning off the ticket. An argument could be made that…
