IpMonitor uses a proprietary database. There is not a way to access then outside of ipMonitor. You can create reports from within ipMonitor, and this will pull from the historic data.

You will want to get a Wireshark capture on the Kiwi Syslog server in order to confirm that the packets are reaching the system.

You can use one installation of Kiwi Syslog server for that single source. One thing I would recommend is looking at the priority of syslog messages that you have coming in. Try to log in with a local admin account (not a domain account) and kill the process. When you ope task manager, is the process running under your account?

In the newer versions, the have bee an additional device type (Other) added to CatTools. I would recommend upgrading to a newer version.

NTM is stand-alone, and does not have to be installed on your Orion server. NTM maps can be exported into Network Atlas, but it does not touch the Orion database.

Stephen when I say the standard syslog format, i mean as defined in RFC 3164: https://www.ietf.org/rfc/rfc3164.txt In the past I have seen abnormalities in some packets coming in. This can be cause by anti-virus software on the local machine, and some devices that the packets pass through.
