Edit the device, and delete those from the prompts section. Next click the Variations tab, click Use Variations and then go to Prompts tab and add dgs-1210-52mp> there.
-
It look like we are expecting either a $ or $ prompt, but are seeing dgs-1210-52mp>. Please edit your device, and go to the Prompts tab. You will want to add dgs-1210-52mp> to these sections. You may need to adjust for enable, config etc. Let me know if that helps.

A few questions for you: 1. What version of 2012 and Kiwi Syslog server are you running? 2. Are you seeing any errors in the errorlog.txt file in the Syslogd directory? 3. Has Kiwi Syslog ever worked on this system?
-
Kiwi Syslog has not been tested on Windows 2019, but we have customer running it successfully.
-
I am guessing that you want to include that IP address. I would recommend deselecting both the case sensitive and substring options. If you still have issues, try using an IP address filter and use the same IP for both the start and end addresses.
-
After importing the map, you should be to mouse over the node, and see the details.
-
You should also have the option to export as a map. You will be able to save the map as a file, and move it to your Network Atlas system. Also you can schedule a scan to run at different intervals, and update your map.

Did the Unmanage utility work?
-
Are you seeing an IP address along with the failure?

I would use the Unmanage utility. This will give you polling for only the times you need.

Try to click on ICMP nodes, and drag them to your map.
-
Evan, What do you see in a putty session?

Two things to check: 1. Is the Orion syslog server listening on UDP port 514 2. Does a packet capture show ssylogs reaching this system?
-
I would recommend submitting a feature request: https://thwack.solarwinds.com/community/network-management/network-topology-mapper-ntm/network-topology-mapper-feature-requests
