We are expecting "acceptthisagreementy/[n]", but are seeing "Changes only made with permission of Administrators--- JUNOS 12.1R5.5 built 2013-01-17 06:12:00 UTC". Is there a way to disable this banner as a test?
-
Have you tried running the web set up from the C:\Program Files (x86)\Syslogd\Setup directory as a local administrator (not a domain account)? Also you can try disabling the Windows UAC and any anti-virus software.
-
What do you have configured on your device under SNMP settings?
-
Kevin, Version 3.4.0 uses a different license type than the current version. I believe you were given a Solarwinds Gen2 license instead of a Kiwi license. If this is the case, I would recommend using the current version (3.10.0) on your new install.

Roger, This is due to the Excel size limits. Please see this link: https://support.office.microsoft.com/en-us/article/Excel-specifications-and-limits-ca36e2dc-1f09-4620-b726-67c00b05040f?CTT=1&CorrelationId=bff9ac57-7d8c-411c-bdce-81b0927038d3&ui=en-US&rs=en-US&ad=US

If you enable capture mode (File\Enable capture mode) a debug file will be created in your ...\CatTools3\Debug folder. This will show verbose communication with your device.
-

Here is a free vs licensed version comparison: https://www.kiwisyslog.com/free-tools/kiwi-free-syslog-server

I would recommend adding at least one of each device type in your network to CatTools. That way you will know CatTools works in your environment.
-
This depends on the amount of data stored in the SQL Compact database. There is a 4 GB limit. You can also set the data retention. If you look back do you see any data older than 7 days?
-
Kiwi Syslog is using the standard syslog format. That is why it is broken into sections.
-
Tino, I would recommend copying an existing rule, pasting it back into Kiwi Syslog, and then editing it. If the syntax is not exact in the ini file, the rule will not work.
-
You can submit a support ticket and mark the case NTM evaluation.
-
I would recommend contacting your sales person. They should be able to get you to someone who can collect diagnostics, and look deeper into your issue.
-
Please try the dot1qVlanCurrentTable which is - 1.3.6.1.2.1.17.7.1.4.2 1. Click Start\All Programs\SolarWinds Network Topology Mapper 2. Click Support Tools\NTM diagnostics 3. Click Start and save the diagnostics Search and see if you find anything returned for the OID
-
It is possible that your device is using an OID that we do not currently support. I will find the OID, and get back with you.
