I was working to add a new alert rule this morning and I randomly am getting "Cannot Load Trigger Condition". I refresh a few times and then it works. Any ideas?

We are on 2018.2 HF6 with NPM 12.3 and SAM 6.7. Can this be integrated to DPA 2019.4 or will we need to be at a newer version than that?

We found out that a Netflow chart pulling in 7 days of data was added to a main view that refreshed every minute, so the query was killing the database. Once I dropped it down to 24 hours, the reports loaded quickly.

Opened a ticket with Support regarding this. It is a bug in 11.5.2 with the "ContainerMemberSnapshots" table in the Orion database. Support had us run a "TRUNCATE from ContainerMemberSnapshots" and then restart the services on our Primary Orion server and the additional pollers (and additional web server if applicable).…

I can't remember if its just the actual Orion website files only or anything (aka new folders or files you drop into the website folder), but those folders may get deleted if you upgrade or rebuild the Orion Console website.

Which version of NPM and WPM are you on? Does it come back if you restart the Solarwinds Module Engine (? I think thats the name) service? We would randomly get that error before we upgraded to 11.5.2.

We are about 3 weeks out from starting our upgrades. We were planning on 11.5.1, but we may hold off if UDP alerts aren't migrating over.

This has started occurring for me too. I'm on 12.1 with Platform HF3. Is this issue resolved by running those three queries or does it continue to pop up?

Any updates regarding this? I am beginning the planning of the NPM 12.0.1 upgrade and with alerts being a major need, I would hate to upgrade and have them be broken.

Has anyone migrated a WPM player server to 2012? Will just be able to install the player on the 2012 server, rename it to the same IP and name as the 2008 R2 server and have it just take over player duties? Does WPM made a unique ID or something for the server and it would not work on the 2012 server even if it matched the…

I'm on 2017.1.3 SP3, NPM 12.1, etc do I need to run the steps to rebuild the license store? On one article it says you have to if you are on 2017.3 NPM 12.2 and another says 2017.1 but on NPM 12.0.1. Which statement is correct?

When you installed the software on the 2012 server, did you install NPM first, then run the configuration wizard, then proceed with each of the modules? I'm just wondering what will happen to the module's database data when you reinstall the modules on a new server. Also, unless I'm reading the release notes for 12.1…

On the trigger condition screen you can set that the condition must exist for x minutes. So in this case, you can set it to 20 minutes (if your polling time is every 10 minutes) before the alert fires.

uniswtc Have you tried rebooting the server or restarting the Orion services? I have had APEs stop polling like this if .net gets patched or it loses connection to the database. I usually will reboot the server so all of the services come up clean.

How did the upgrade go? We are currently on NCM 7.0.2 with NCM and NPM on separate servers but integrated. Sounds like my upgrade will be similar to yours and was curious if you ran into any issues.
