jaminsql, Thank you for your reply. I think the problem is DPAIM cannot get the data from our DPA server. Yes I get a DPA login screen when I use the link you mentioned. Since DPA is a trial version support told me they couldn't open a support ticket, but our Tech sales person has put us in contact with support personnel.…

No, but this was the second time I changed a worker process setting. The first was in the Default Application Pool, it was set to 2 and I lowered it to 1. The second time was in the SolarWinds Orion Application Pool.

Not sure why this is marked correct answer as I still have the problem. But I am new to using Thwack.

ryoung, Yes I did see the thread you mentioned. It doesn't help me diagnose my issue. The user is only getting this error on one pc. When he logs into another pc the Node Management works fine. I am looking for a local log that has a more detailed description of the error. The answer in the other thread I don't know where…

In our IIS we are at 2 worker processes not 5 in our Solarwinds app pool. I am not familiar with IIS, so will this be a dynamic change or do I have to stop and restart IIS for this to take effect?

Will, Thanks for the reply. I should have put in the steps I have taken with support so far. Rebuilt the SolarWinds website under the InetPub directory, at least 4 times. Run the configuration wizard after each rebuild. Tried a reboot Tried different browsers (IE, firefox, chrome). deleted subscriptions from database.…

Our Orion server is not internet facing, so I can't download from the internet to the server.

Thanks this worked for me.

This was the solution to this problem. The dev team got back with us this morning. They believe the issue is that the website is using two worker processes, the software uses in-process session store so the worker processes don't share the information between them causing the issue. So what we need to do is set the…
