michael.damron, The post you mentioned is for FTD, are you saying that works for FMC as well?

I was thinking the same thing, just wanted to make sure. Thanks, Alex

Did anybody get a solution for this?

Thanks for posting this update. I will be completing a similar upgrade with newer versions of the software. Thanks, Alex

When I add a new agent. The number of available paths shows 0 of 20.

This command makes the display a little more traditional: show flow monitor name monitor-name cache format table Remember to change "monitor-name" to the name of the monitor.

I updated my F5 monitors and this solution is working. Thanks, Alex

I know this is an old thread. However, I have always used NCM remediation for making mass config changes.

I reversed the logic and will do some testing. I started with Node first so my logic now looks like: All child conditions must be satisfied (AND) At least one child condition must be satisfied (OR) Node - Vendor - contains - Cisco At least one child condition must be satisfied (OR) Node - Vendor - contains - Cisco And All…

It is possible to monitor the firewall in the latest NPM release. To my knowledge, not the IPS/IDS. From Cisco: Should be able to send netflow to NTA - AVC - More than 3000 application-layer and risk-based controls can invoke tailored IPS threat-detection policies to improve security effectiveness. Monitor the basic…

After working with SolarWinds, we were able to identify the install issue that we had. WPM requires the 3.5 .NET Framework to be installed on the servers. We verified that we did not have that on the newly configured servers. The resolution was to install the 3.5 .NET Framework on the servers and complete the installation…

I just used this info to create an alert for an IP SLA where I had multiple SLAs configured on a router.

The main issue is that the NOC view will work for a while and then quit working.

There are two reasons this provides value. 1. Peace of mind. 2. Sometimes we notice that a device has not been backed up in a certain amount of days just by looking at our config-archive folder. We use our config-archive folder to sort by date and use it as a troubleshooting tool to make sure that NCM is backing up…

We do have this set to save the file, but I want to save the file even if the configuration has not been changed. I just do not want NetPath to report that the configuration has changed, if it has not changed. Thanks, Alex

I believe the purpose of being able to detect a change in the configuration is pretty straight-forward. I think if no configuration change has been made besides a "copy run start", NetPath should not report that a configuration change has been made. One idea could be that if NetPath detects an issue on a managed device, it…

I was wondering if people are having issues with SQL 2014. I was thinking about installing an Orion instance on a 2016 Microsoft server and pointing it to an existing SolarWinds 2014 SQL database. I just wanted to make sure that is not one of the specific issues people are having problems with.

The command to see the info from the CLI on the router is: show flow monitor name monitor-name cache format record This is a good resource so I thought I would add this to make it more complete.
-
I am hesitant to upgrade to a beta version. I don't have additional resources that I could install the beta.

Congrats!

Thanks for the post. Should Network Traffic Analyzer be able to show SMB1 traffic?
-
I found the CLI to remove users. I tested and verified that it works.
-
Did you come up with a solution to this problem? Thanks, Alex

I had an issue with a NetPath probe. I uninstalled the Server Agent and re-installed it. It is now working fine.

Amazing job! I love playing with styles.
