  • Hi Lawrence I have just sent you the log from the package boot. There was no logs generated from the uninstall of the msi. Please let me know what you find. Unfortunately for this software you have to manually uninstall the previous version before installing the new version.

  • Hi Lawrence I have disabled the file in use check and republished the package. I have ran the package on the target computer but the same result happens. It didn't install on the machine but it did do the uninstall.
  • Found the setting System Configuration > Patch Manager Servers, and then select Application Servers. Application Server Settings tab. Category column, click . Email Configuration. Email Configuration category, and then click Modify Setting in the Actions pane (right) to open a dialog for that setting.

  • I can understand if it's permission on the exchange 2013 servers if I didn't receive mail. But I do get all the mails from patch manager and even though patch manager is set to use exchange2013 it user uses exchange 2010 smtp address even its not configured to, this is where I can't understand what is going on.   • Hi Thanks for your reply, no there is no dns entry for this. Even when I change the sender address in the patch manager, I still get the old address. I have restarted the service and rebooted the server just in case but still have the issue.

  • I’m getting this error on the client machine. It’s a custom package. I’ve published it to my wsus server band I’m using update management to download and install it on a couple of computers before I approve it for general install. Each client machine gets the same error message.
