This could be a license state issue. If you are running Windows 7 or later can you try right-click License Manager Tool and choose "Run as administrator". Do you get an error? To get more details, click view log and see at the bottom of the log a report saying “overall result:" is it a Success or a Failed?

It is NOT possible to install only some tools from ETS as it is compiled into one package only. Better try what bkyle suggested as a workaround.

By default, Service version is logged in using the "LocalSystem" account. This account is different to a user account you may be accessing the machine running Syslog with. It does not know about any mapped drives that are defined and are accessible by your user account. To fix the issue, you may try to consider the…

Hi matkenn, bkyle is right. You can use Device.CLI.Send commands activity and list the commands you wanted to send. Moreover, the Report.ARP table activity is also a great alternative. On a Cisco IOS device it uses a simple "Show IP ARP" command and builds a table of results over time. More on this activity here:…

Hi mojo.average, NTM can definitely help discovering your network devices (PC, Servers, IP Phones, Printers, Switches, Routers, etc.) and map their topology. Simply enable SNMP, WMI or VMware to your devices so that NTM can get enough information.

I have more than 300 devices without issues. Why you ask? Any errors?

This autosplit %Hostname variable will try to contact your DNS server or look for static cache entries, who knows the resolution might be incorrect hence creating an incorrect filename. To find out, can you try to replace %Hostname to %IPAdd4 and verify if the issue still…

Hi robotfish1911 First off, SNMP Traps can be divided into SNMP Trap fields. You can enable/disable SNMP Trap Fields from (File -> Setup -> Inputs -> SNMP). Secondly, I don't see any email counters that identifies SNMP Trap fields by default. All email counters can be seen here. Hence, if you are going to email a SNMP Trap…

Normally, when commands are sent out, CatTools will wait for an echo of that command before proceeding. Some commands, however, will not produce an echo and so the activity will fail at this point. The %ctUM: EchoOff command will tell CatTools to send out any further commands in this activity without waiting for and echo.…

Normally when commands are sent out, CatTools will wait for an echo of that command before proceeding. Some commands, however, will not produce an echo and so the Send CLI Command activity will fail at this point. Try to add %ctUM: EchoOff before your list of commands and see if it helps. More on this can be found here:…
