I've had an issue similar to this...it ended up being the field in the database wasn't updated after it was acknowledged or suppressed so it kept showing as a live issue. I think I ended up open a case with support to help me correct it...

I'm using that monitor for our DC's...basically it's two monitors, the first checks your system against an external internet time source, the second tests your system against your internal time source....assuming I'm reading it correctly. In terms of how it works, it's not any different than any other monitor being…

When I setup the couple templates I use....I set the node to the poller you're using for the monitoring, and my O365 creds to make the connections. It was a while ago but I think I needed to install the Azure tools on the poller as well so the powershell commands were available. I would agree though regarding the…

The Server and Application product will do that as an fyi....

I would be up for reading this over and letting you know what I think....my email is available through the site.

Yes you can do this....you can use the rule provided or you can create your own. As an FYI...Solarwinds made a quick video on how to do this... How-To Use Log & Event Manager to Detect Privilege Changes in Active Directory - YouTube

Once you get your script setup, you can configure a monitor to manage it and kick our alerts as needed.

I started to look into this as well....I believe I'm going to use Powershell to do it. I'm at the very beginning though so I don't have any other info about it. Scripting Tools for Windows PowerShell OID5440657 | HPE http://woshub.com/hp-ilo-management-using-powershell/

I haven't run the upgrade yet because I was waiting for others to go through it and post some feed back either positive or negative.

I like this idea...we have tons of apps generating log files and dumping them in folders all over the place. If we could monitor them and be alerted when they reach 50 - 100 log files, we could set a cleanup script to run. Right now we're looking at setting up a PowerShell script to deal with it, something that will zip…

I have a couple servers like this.... What I ended up doing was....in the alert logic I added a trigger that excluded the couple of systems I didn't want that alert to trigger on. Then I setup a second drive space alert for the systems I removed....so as you mentioned, I ended up with two different alerts.

I'm getting ready to setup a demo of VMan to see how it fits in with our SAM deployment / environment....my account rep Ashelena was nice enough to setup some time with one of the engineers to show me the product and some of the features. My advice is talk to your account rep and check out a demo of the product and how it…

There is a training class / presentation in the portal under "virtual classrooms" for Exchange monitoring. I think you need to be a customer with a portal account to access it....it's aimed at Exchange in general...not specifically Exchange 2016. At least it was when I attended...

This kind of problem can be a pain....although I've not run into it for some time...in the past I've used a tool called Netwrix Account lockout examiner from "Netwrix". Maybe take a look at that and see if it can help you find the issue....I don't know if the free tool will give you all the functions, but it might be worth…

I believe the agents are made to talk back to the poller not monitor other systems.....I couldn't find any documentation about daisy-chaining agents in this manner.

I can't speak for the UCS blades, but I monitor our HP blades with default settings...It's been running this way a long time and I've not seen any issues with it. Are you having issues that you're trying to track down or is this just general monitoring you're setting up?

Some of these might be duplicates but off the top of my head... Service Health monitors Directory Sync Status Licencing info - lics available, in use, warnings about getting low A monitor for mailboxes that are going to be deleted once their Lic is taken away and they aren't turned into a shared mailbox. I just started rolling FIM out for a PCI requirement and noticed this issue as well....We have some folders in our environment with special config files we don't want touched, this same folder has app logs that are constantly changing. It would be nice if we could configure "exclusions". Right now we're looking at making…

I'll jump in on this even though it's an older post...maybe people will look back on it.... I used LEM to solve an issue that seemed to come up every now and then with our production websites. "Some how" files were changing on production sites and causing outages...nobody knew who was doing it. I setup a FIM monitor that…

I've run into this issue at my last job and my current job. The fix you mentioned helped at my last gig...the jury is still out at my current gig, I've only put the reg hack in place a few days ago. I'm still trying to figure out why it's happening.

I'm working on a powershell script to go through all my domain servers, get the available shares and enumerate the permissions on them. It's been taking a while to get it working...but in my searching around for some help I found the tool below: Cjwdev | NTFS Permissions Reporter Maybe that's something you can look at..

Did you try to manually enter the properties instead of letting it auto-populate and see if that works.?

If you logon to the Vman manager appliance...there is a place in there to set timezone.
